In reply to: [Page Builder by SiteOrigin] Parse error: syntax error after your updateLesson learned. For anyone not managing your own hosting, make sure everything is up to date before quoting a price to take over. I inherited the site and hosting. I don’t want to name names, but the hosting company is lazy and less than competent. Old Apache, old PHP, old cPanel and most recent restore point is nearly two weeks ago. This is a $150 a month “managed” VPS. Rather risk an Apache, PHP, cPanel update without a back up, I deleted the siteorigin-panels folder and re-installed. Worked perfectly.

In reply to: [Page Generator] Page changes / updatesHow do I make changes to lots of existing pages without doing it page by page by page?
I have exactly the same error. I am led to believe it is NOT my theme because I have several websites using the same theme without the error. Another plugin conflict maybe?
UPDATE: I deactivated / activated each plugin one at a time and found the error was caused by W3 Total Cache.
Under W3 Total Cache >> General Settings, I unchecked / checked Page Cache, Minify, Database Cache and so on…
In my case, I found “Object Cache” was causing the error. I tested this setting with my other websites and found it to be consistent.
I now have it unchecked and am error free.
