In reply to: [Autoptimize] Autoptimize Plugin Conflict WordPress 5.6.1@optimizingmatters I don’t have a staging site, unfortunately.
However, I can revert back to the previous config where it’s broken for a period of time, now that I know how to fix it for the time being. (Disabling the plugin)
Worth to note, I do make use of W3 Total Cache. But that shouldn’t matter as if was working in the previous version of the plugin with critical CSS.

In reply to: [Autoptimize] Autoptimize Plugin Conflict WordPress 5.6.1Looks like if all 3 options are on it breaks the page and some elements. If one of them is off it breaks some elements from loading.
I’ve tried all combination of JS, CSS and HTML optimization on and off.

In reply to: [Autoptimize] Autoptimize Plugin Conflict WordPress 5.6.1With the release of WordPress 5.6.1, Autoptimize is now causing JS errors in the console. PRIOR it was working fine. I’ve tested by reverting everything back and forth. It breaks many elements.
Here’s a breakdown of what’s being seen in the console.
Uncaught SyntaxError: Unexpected end of input : autoptimize_0293c44e3fb4653e741312e354e788fe.js:76@optimizingmatters yeah, I’ve just done that. Looks like it’s resolved the issue noted.
@steveush aight I’ve done a few more things. I’ve excluded foogallery.min.js from the service. It has restored functionality to the gallery.
@steveush I’ve already done that on a few occasions before posting. Any other suggestions?
@bradvin WordPress 5.6
@bradvin I sure can. https://www.cryovex.com/2020/09/02/lenovo-legion-5-review/ You’ll notice that the foogallery under benchmarks isn’t showing up. Which it was before the update.
Looking forward to the update as this is causing foogallery to not load the galleries on the posts.
@azaozz Totally agree, I do feel for all the people having issues still to this day. But I also understand that some plugins/themes won’t get to see additional daylight. As a consumer (me), I’ve adapted to implement alternatives if something is breaking.
With how fast things change, technology, apps, website design etc. Contingencies have to be implemented.
