It might make sense to be be able to make the image slightly larger, but I don’t really like having larger headers on inside pages. Mostly being able to re-position the image inside the header should be enough to get a reasonable crop.
Sorry I haven’t been able to communicate clearly enough.
What I’d like is to re-position the image inside the header on ‘other pages’ so that the way the image is cropped is more appropriate.
I don’t necessarily need to change the size of the header image, just how the image is positioned in relation to it. Right now it is centered vertically – where I may need it 50 or 60 pixels further down than that, or perhaps up.
Perhaps if you go to the site you’ll see exactly what I’m talking about.

As for what I expect to happen, basically I’d need the ability to have a different crop on the other page’s header image, or a different image, than is being automatically applied.

Hi – front page is great, it’s the other pages and posts, and every page size I’ve tried the header image gets cropped badly.

In reply to: robots.txt file keeps google from crawling sitemapThe biggest issue I see is the default says
User-agent: *
Disallow: /which probably means any page you create ie /pageName will not be indexed.

In reply to: robots.txt file keeps google from crawling sitemapThank you for your replay Davood, however there wasn’t any robots.txt files in the first place at any level. I created a hardcoded one to try and fix things but that doesn’t work either.
I also deleted the one I created and retested but same result.

In reply to: [WP Simple] WP Simple theme contact form not workingWell, that may take quite a while – I have a working contact form on there now and not a lot of time.

In reply to: [WP Simple] WP Simple theme contact form not workingNo – Very Simple Contact Form was not installed when I first had the issue. However one of the other plugins seems to be causing the problem. I just haven’t had time to go in and test each one individually.

In reply to: [WP Simple] WP Simple theme contact form not workingPS – didn’t work with non url related email, and Very Simple Contact Form was loaded after issue with the theme contact form.

In reply to: [WP Simple] WP Simple theme contact form not workingHad already done that. Tried loading again – still no change.
Plugins I’m using:
BulletProof Security
Easy Digital Downloads
MailChimp for WordPress
Official StatCounter Plugin
Simple Wp Sitemap
Very Simple Contact Form
WP Fastest CacheI turned off the plugins and that made it work, but I haven’t test each one to see which is causing the problem.

In reply to: [WP Simple] Front page still showing up from old themeI was just about to post that I’d solved the issue late last night.
After a bunch of searching I finally found a clue that it was to do with the server cache – which was odd because I didn’t have a cache plugin running when I installed everything. But a clue in on the responses to their post (it wasn’t on www.ads-software.com) mentioned the .htaccess file – so I went in with ftp, cut out all the text, saved the file – then pulled up my site with a browser that was stuck on the old theme for the front page, and loaded it successfully. I then went back and pasted in all the text into the .htaccess file (for safety) and everything seems to be running fine.
Weird, but it works.

In reply to: How secrure are atristeer templates?Interesting – I just looked at a theme I recently built in Artisteer and compared it a standard WordPress Theme (TwentyEleven) and found four less files and one less folder (three instead of four) in the Artisteer theme.
But back to the OP’s question – is there anything in an Artisteer theme that would cause security problems?
