deleting 404.php just makes the blog address load
still not getting my custom 404

i have no admin>Option menu either

i installed LivePress 1.5.2 and i can’t add my journal.
the window pops up and i get a 404 error inside of the window.
I dumped all folders from the zip into wordpress/plugins and followed all directions on https://somuchgeek.com/code/livepress/

can old posts be back dated into LJ now?

hmm.. i can’t get WP to send LJ a backdate command.

153 : Incorrect time value: Your most recent journal entry is dated 2005-05-06 02:30, but you’re trying to post one at 2005-04-30 03:40 without the backdate option turned on. Please check your computer’s clock. Or, if you really mean to post in the past, use the backdate option.

alright.. i got it going now.

is there a “custom field” i can use to disable the comments feature on the post that goes to LiveJournal? or do i have to edit the LJ post manually?

that whole overwrite/don’t overwrite thing threw me through the loop.. and i’m still having trouble. it seems like if one things works the other thing breaks. (12 LivePress plugins vs. Sync)

so now EVERYTHING goes in /plugins?
and i don’t have to edit any paths in any files?

this is so irritating, i’ve been trying to get this work for over a week.

this mod is such a pain in the ass.
if anyone has some decent documentation on EXACTLY how to get this mod working, please share.
It seems like nothing in this mod is where it belongs.

I’m looking for this plugin or one similar for WP1.5
any ideas?
