this is very timely, as this is exactly what I’m doing – but when I post that into my twentyten header, I get errors. Dreamweaver says there’s an error on line five where it just has “else:” – which also leads to an error on teh last “Endif” and also further down in the code at the end of the #access div.

And, sadly, I’m just not PHP-savvy enough to see how to fix it. Any thoughts?

I’ve got the NextGEN Search engine working, but I get

1) Duplicate results
2) Correct results, but with the wrong thumbnail on the search page. So you see (for example) three identical candlestick pictures when you search for “beds.” Clicking on any of the three candlestick images will take you to a different bed – none of them take you to a candlestick.

Anyone? Bueller? Bueller?

Er, maybe I should have elaborated. Count your number of categories. That’s how many spaces you should put before the desired top category. The next gets one less space, etc:

(seven spaces) Bottoms
(six spaces) Dresses
(five spaces) Jewelry
(four spaces) Accessories
(three spaces) Gifts
(two spaces) Shoes
(one space) Tops
Hats

Should display properly on your pages.

I’ve added spaces before the category names to accomplish a specific order. WP E-commerce recognizes, but HTML doesn’t recognize standard spaces at the beginning of a line, so the page (in my case) renders the way I want it to.
