Where is the “wp_options table” to manually edit?

I am running 2.9 and my most recent “backup email” still has the #039; rather than an apostrophe.

I will try your manual fix.

I have not tried songdogtech’s suggestion of seeing if this is a server level setting on yahoo.

I have not resolved this issue on my site. Whenever I get an announcement from the blog — new member or backup — the title has #039; in the title.

Nope. When I mail a backup to myself I’m still getting:

Screenwriter's Compass Database Backup

And ALO EasyMail sends the same for the blog title.

I also have “unfancy quote” add-in installed.

I’ll dig into the documentation for that theme.

Well. Just did what I wanted here with the code button here.

But that’s not what I get in the SimpleText theme I am using in WordPress.

Thanks for the suggestion. It didn’t do what I want.
I want a hard return </p> to leave the next line immediately after, without space between the lines.

I would have thought padding:0 is precisely what I need.

I want each line to be a paragraph. And to have the kind of spacing between lines that you get with a NewLine rather than a Paragraph.

I want to be able to format the indent for each line independently. (which is not possible if each line ends in a newline).

I don’t think it’s Easymail. It happens (and happened before I installed Easymail) with the default mailer.

Weird. I joined HotPOP.com to get a pop email address that doesn’t require SSL — and it still doesn’t work.

I can’t get mail even if I’m using 110.

I think what happened was a I WAS logged out — but WordPress didn’t see me as logged out until I clicked on Site-Admin.

Re-logged in and now seems to be working as expected.
