If you want to use/write custom codes, you should use wpForo hooks.

Well, it turns out that the function’s data isn’t entirely accessible before?wp?(wpforo_before_init), which is later than?wp_loaded?and?init. I think it might be helpful to initialize data a little earlier, allowing greater freedom in development.

This is not possible as wpForo is multi board, and each board has its own settings(you can set up each board differently)

You cannot fully remove the add topic button from the Forum Layout with wpForo options.

But you can hide the add topic button with CSS Code. But doing like that, the button would be hidden for everyone.

I’m sorry but you cannot do that as you cannot control the Moderation functionality by forums, only by Usergroups.

I guess you have set the admin usergroup as default by registration, Navigate to dashboard > wpForo > usergroups and check the default usergroup.

please Check wpForo Usergroups, Forum Accesses, and Forum Permissions field in Category and Forum Settings, as how I understand you have set wrong Forum Accesses to the wrong Usergroup Users in Categories and Forums.
