If I go through all the steps you list, the problem does go away, but then as soon as I re-enable Directorist, the problem comes back.
Yes, I have turned off debug mode so that the errors no longer display on the site, but that doesn’t mean the problem is actually fixed. My error log is still full of those warnings.
Mostly I wanted to make sure you were aware of the error so that you could fix this in a future release of the plugin. Thanks!
Awesome, thank you!
Uh oh, sorry to hear you are just seeing a blank page! I’m not seeing this issue on other sites. It is possible that there is a browser cache problem – have you tried viewing it in a browser that has never visited the site before? Do you know how to view your browser’s JavaScript console? If so, do you see any errors there? If not, can you send an email to [email protected] with the URL of your site, and we can troubleshoot from there?
I am releasing a new version of the plugin this week that should fix these issues.

In reply to: [Shiftee Basic - Employee and Staff Scheduling] Bad ExperienceI’m sorry to hear that you had such a bad experience! I have seen sites have performance issues if you have dozens of employees and thousands of shifts, but even then, I have never seen load times of 3 or 4 minutes. If you want to try again, I’d be happy to take a look at your site and see if I can do anything about the performance problems.

In reply to: [Inactive Logout] JSON errorsHowever, now I see another problem…. The readme says that users will be logged out even if they close the browser tab. That isn’t happening. If I close the browser tab, wait until my login should have expired, and then come back, I am still logged in.

In reply to: [Shiftee Basic - Employee and Staff Scheduling] Cannot assign staff to shiftsI’m sorry to hear you’re having trouble!
I need more information about what is happening. What procedure are you following to assign staff to a shift? What happens when you assign the staff? Do you get any error messages?
See the third question here: https://shiftee.co/docs/faq/
You are correct – some date formats cause errors. I have tried to make sure that all date formats work, but apparently some formats still cause problems. In the next release of the plugin, your date format will be supported.

In reply to: [Shiftee Basic - Employee and Staff Scheduling] Location detection issue. In case anyone else is encountering this issue: in this case, it turns out that the site was not using https. Recent versions of some browsers (including Chrome and Safari) will not detect location on sites that do not have an SSL certificate.
It is highly recommended that you use an SSL certificate with Shiftee: your employee data is stored in Shiftee, so security is important.

In reply to: [Shiftee Basic - Employee and Staff Scheduling] Location detection issue. There could be lots of different reasons that location is a problem. Have you tried in any other browser, or on another computer? Can you look in your JS console to see if there are any JS errors?
Since you are using the paid version of Shiftee, you can send email to [email protected] and I can help you there – it will be easier to sort this out in a private email conversation.
