There are three versions (Shortcode, Gutenberg, or Elementor) of this plugin. Which version do you use? Can you please share the page link so that I can apply the CSS with the inspector panel?

There is no different background option for each category in our plugin. Also, the layout doesn’t match our existing layout. But if you know CSS then you can modify Grid Layout 2 for your layout.

NB: We will add the different category colors in the future. But not now.

Thanks for using our plugin. Please follow the below steps for showing properly the excerpt-
1. First check the excerpt box from the post editor. If there is content in the box then please remove it or put the correct excerpt. Please check the attachment – https://prnt.sc/r35wPC8WSyW_
2. Now please check the settings from the Elementor editor – https://prnt.sc/aOU985GwAJ4t

NB: If you don’t set any excerpt from the excerpt box (https://prnt.sc/r35wPC8WSyW_) then by default 55 characters will show as an excerpt.

Another thing, As you use Elementor page builder so you no need to use shortcode you can use direct Elementor widgets for any Elementor page that is very easy to create. Please follow the below steps to do that-
