Thank you for your response Ben. I will give that a try. Will this – 100% – affect how the slider is viewed on other smaller devices? Prior to the update, the flex slider showed well on all devices.

Thank you for getting back to me. Do you work for Kadence?

This shows the slider prior to update as I would wish it. After the theme update, the slider is reduced to actual size which appears too small.

I have it set to flex slider and this size looks good on all devices. I do not want to set up a separate mobile slider.

As I said, I can resize the images but as I look after multi sites, do not really want to. My question for Kadence are they going to release another update correcting what was changed, regarding the slider image sizes, on the last update?

I have the same issue, I want to change the colour of my site title. What was the solution please? I cannot see it anywhere in Theme Options.

Hi Problem solved. The DNS record for the sites that had the issue was wrong. The host had moved the sites to a new server and either not told us, or the details had not filtered down.

Thanks nosilver4u, I have already tried each of the five different options as to how WordFence gets its IP addresses but no joy. Thanks anyway.

As an update, I have now found out how to cleanly remove WordFence. You place a tick in the Delete WordFence data and tables on deactivation (right at the bottom of the options page), save the changes and then deactivate and delete the plugin. However, this did not resolve the IP address issue!

Help would really be appreciated.

Update. I have found that the link drop-down on the add media now defaults to none. By changing it to Media File, all is well. Issue resolved.

Thanks for your advice. I must have got rid of the tags when I repositioned (cut and pasted) the shortcode to the top of the page because there is no evidence of tags in the HTML editor and all is well with the appearance.

Aside from the usual – reducing the resolution of the images, which I have done – is there anything to make the slideshow load faster when opening the page? It lags behind the rest of the page only by a second or two but it would be nice if it could load with the rest of the page.

Hi there

I have discovered with a bit of playing around that if you place the shortcode at the top of the page as a heading, the marks are no longer there. Any suggestions as to faster loading would still be welcome however.
