In reply to: [ActivityPub] Change usernameWell, progress but no progress. I discovered that what I thought was the plugin settings page wasn’t the settings page, but instead was the welcome page. And on the settings page I can have a general blog-wide username, which I’ve set to @wildmind@www.wildmind.org. (I’d still rather not have the www.)
But how do I follow that on Mastodon? I search for “@[email protected]” and all that comes up are a few older posts were I’ve linked to blog articles.
Selecting “go to profile: @wildmind@www.wildmind.org” brings up a 404 page.

In reply to: [Subscribe To Comments Reloaded] Emails showing HTMLThank you! That field was rather messed up:

I’ve changed to it match what you posted about. The Management Page message text was also messed up, and I’ve fixed that too. One more test wouldn’t do any harm, though!

In reply to: [Import and export users and customers] Importing existing usersAh. I see from your response to someone else that having no password column resets the password, while a blank password column doesn’t. I’d missed that in the documentation.

In reply to: [Import and export users and customers] Importing existing usersThanks for the help.
If you read the documentation, yes, this is the solution.
I had read the documentation, but I hadn’t picked up whether passwords would be reset or not.
Rather than have a password column that was blank, I just didn’t include that column at all, which hopefully has the same effect. One of the first people I imported a second time had problems with her password, and I wasn’t sure if that was related to me importing her again. It doesn’t seem like it was, though, which is good, since there will eventually be a lot of people who get imported multiple times.
