I already created a child theme & i don’t intend to edit the default theme but i’m having a problem with the menu and i can’t link cos i’m working on a localhost, if you can help with where the HOME is coded i guess i should be able to solve the problem.

thanks, i’m using twentyeleven theme that came with wordpress 3.5.1
and yes i was able to add the links but i’ld prefer to have it drop down rather than horizontal; like ‘school’ as a menu and ‘school of science’ a sub menu (drop down)that leads to another site; don’t know if you understand…

I’m using twenty-elven theme and add logo before the site title.

i think I’m going to need much more of the good luck…& yeah a cool theme it is.

I should be the one saying sorry, i want a BIG header image but each time i try to upload an image, i am required to crop to a small image that get doubled automatically to fit the increased header height and i want the title above the image and menu below the image

No, i’ve not made any more changes than
#header {
height: 240px !important;
}
to the style.css. i deleted the other changes since they don’t have effect
