OK, now I am delighted to report this is fixed, but at a complete loss as to how/why?
As suggested I deactivated all non-essential plugins (kept on Rev Slider & Widget Logic).
Reactivated them all one by one (Web to Lead, Yoast SEO, Redirection, ithemes Security) and they all work including Web to Lead, without stopping the logo or Portfolio section from displaying.
Extremely odd. But good. Maybe something in the settings for one of them that was causing the disruption has now been returned to default?
Thanks for the support!
Hi Nick,
Thanks for the reply. The forms are only in the main body of 3 different pages on the site (unrelated to the portfolio section). It is hard to see in that case why they are interfering with the logo or portfolio section loading correctly.
I had not made any changes to the site when I observed that my custom code (menu background colour and width, plus company logo) were not working. I did not check on the portfolio section at this point. It is possible that wordpress was updated automatically and I didn’t check the site out afterwards to make sure all was working. So I guess I could try rolling back to an older version of wordpress and see if this helps…
Once I noticed the problem I didn’t think of the wordpress update, but wondered if the hosting company had made a change to something at their end end and as I had a theme update pending I thought perhaps this might fix it (flawed logic now that I am forced to reflect on it).
While I was updating things I also updated to the latest version of the Yoast SEO plugin.
Upping the memory limit for the site turned out to be the solution to the custom code not loading, but didn’t bring up the company logo. It was then that I noticed that the portfolio wasn’t loading correctly.
Rolling back to the previous version of the theme, and deactivating the Yoast SEO plugin did not have any effect. It was only when I deactivated the salesforce plugin that everything loaded properly, and when I enabled debugging on the site I found what I assumed to be an error. So if that’s not it I guess I roll back to a previous version of wordpress and see if this helps as a first step?
Cheers
AngelaPerfect, should’ve just done an export/import of my database from the beginning. Thanks for the advice. Cheers Angela
I feel very foolish, it was Outlook that was removing the line breaks and with a click you can restore them. Sorry and thanks again!
For sure, one doesn’t use any custom fields https://harrisonlane.strategiq.co.nz/contact-us/
and the other one does https://harrisonlane.strategiq.co.nz/request-design-guide/
Example of email from request a design guide which configures correctly:

In reply to: [Brilliant Web-to-Lead for Salesforce] Failed to connect to Salesforce.com.One final query if I may… I have 3 forms configured on this site, using custom fields and all 3 are now working and submitting data to Salesforce.
One of them – https://harrisonlane.strategiq.co.nz/design-price-estimate/ is running all lines together in the emails that get sent to admin as well as to the customer if they request a copy for themselves, whereas the others display each field of the form on a separate line. Just wondering if you can think of any reason why that might be… (Dealing with the really big issues now I know!) Many Thanks, AngelaForum: Plugins

In reply to: [Brilliant Web-to-Lead for Salesforce] Failed to connect to Salesforce.com.Host has largely resolved my issue. Connection to salesforce now working, but getting this error msg appearing above the form when a new enquiry is submitted on the contact page:
Notice: sanitize_url is deprecated since version 2.8! Use esc_url_raw() instead. in /home/strategi/public_html/harrisonlane/wp-includes/functions.php on line 3378
Any ideas please?
Cheers

In reply to: [Brilliant Web-to-Lead for Salesforce] Failed to connect to Salesforce.com.OK thank you. Have narrowed it down – most definitely a hosting issue. Likely to move site to a new server if they cannot resolve. Thx for your help.
