The link I tried to share that day apparently went right to the pdf and not the page that had the pdf open on it, so I guess that didn’t help you.
I just tried it again on my website and Now it is working… the embed feature that is. So maybe this has been fixed? I do appreciate THAT update – However, my main request was to have the PDF settings be set to NOT embed (Toggle Show inline embed OFF Automatically) as my customer is not going to remember this step many times and apparently this embed feature has been an on-going issue for years. Thanks

Here is a webpage that is doing exactly what I am talking about – the directions for the embed pdf page automatically opens the cute kitten PDF and I cannot read the page it was embedded upon.

Hello Elvira, Yes, I continued to work on the issue and found it to be the UPS Shipping plugin. I removed it and installed a different one and that fixed the problem on the previous website.

That being said – I have THE SAME PROBLEM on a different website that does NOT have a shipping plugin at all. In fact I deactivated every plugin except woocommerce and square and it did not resolve the issue. Now, I DID have to reinstall all of the plugins before the end of the day (for the client)

also conflicts with woocommerce square plugin – won’t let you type in the fields for payment.

There were a number of plugins that were updated, including the wordpress version. I just deactivated the W3 Total Cache, uninstalled the Easy Sign Up Plugin including all data and databases and then reinstalled. It’s working now. Or at least it is on my end. Thanks for the reply, hopefully it’ll work for everyone else.
