In reply to: [User Profile Picture] Author images not displayedFigured it out. Somehow the avatar option in the Discussions settings was disabled. Enabling this option fixed the problem.
They confirmed that it is enabled. Yes they do allow. And it is already enabled on th server side.

In reply to: [WordPress Popular Posts] Custom theme not visibleOK. I finally figured it out. Evidently
get_template_directory
does not return a forward-slash. I added a forwardslash in front of the folder name as/wpp_hamim
and the theme shows up in the widget menu now. Thanks again.Forum: Plugins
In reply to: [WordPress Popular Posts] Custom theme not visibleThanks a lot for the quick response. I have made the themes variable an array but the result is still the same.
/** * Registers my WPP theme. * * @param array $themes * @return array */ function register_my_wpp_theme($themes){ // Absolute path to the theme $themes[] = get_template_directory() . 'wpp_hamim'; return $themes; } add_filter('wpp_additional_themes', 'register_my_wpp_theme');
I have double checked the folder in the root theme directory and it is named as
wpp_hamim
and it contains two files.config.json
andstyle.css
. These are direct copies from Midnight theme and modified a little bit to change the color. That’s all.- This reply was modified 5 years, 2 months ago by hamimdev.
Allow me to clarify. This issue is related to the Buffer plugin. I don’t believe it is anything to do with the theme used on the site.
First, check out the below screenshot:

I think I know why Buffer posts do not show the featured image on Twitter because Buffer adds the following at the end of the URL.
?utm_content=buffer4c22a&utm_medium=social&utm_source=twitter.com&utm_campaign=buffer
Check it out yourself.

SNAP Auto Poster link on Twitter: https://twitter.com/hamimorg/status/943477483864776704Simply click on the each link and pay attention to the full URL in the browser address bar.
Thanks.
Hi tinat,
SNAP Auto Poster tweets correctly displays the featured images though. Take a look at the following example:
Those both links are configured the exact same way. Both have featured images.
I am using a premium WP theme so I am guessing there is a script running in the background to hide the featured images from the post page. I remember unchecking a box in the theme settings which is the setting to show/hide featured images.
Tina,
All the posts on the site have featured images. They are just intentionally not shown on the post page. Please see the screenshot of the “Featured Image” box of the Admin Edit page for the link you posted:
Thumbnails used to work just fine. Nothing changed on our end. But the thumbnails have not been shown on Twitter since a few months ago for some reason.
Thanks.

In reply to: [wp-mpdf] Arabic font not shownI have tried all the codepage options and none of them made a difference. Is there a separate font/language option elsewhere? I don’t see anything else on the Settings page.
