Thanks for that.Hi @sunny454,
As you know from my previous posts, the ical subscription feature is very important for us.
PRODID is only a RECOMMENDED field, there should be an option in the plugin to remove or adjust that.
Besides, I don’t mind if the IP address is replaced with the domain name, as mentioned in your message:
A good method to assure uniqueness is to put the domain name or a domain literal IP address of the host

Hello @sunny454,
Thanks for that.
hmm, I’ve voted on this suggestion
Hopefully, this is put to action soon.
If it is possible to edit any PHP files or you know where the function for this lies, it would be helpful as I could attempt to change it for myself.
Thanks,
Thanks @sunny454,
The issue is that, I want the users to be able to subscribe (get updates) to my calendar, so, naturally, they don’t want the events on my website to be cluttered with their own personal events. It needs to be a separate calendar that Outlook/Google Calendar/iOS/Apple Calendars/etc periodically updates.
The button says, ‘Subscribe to filtered calendar’, not ‘Add all filtered events to my calendar’, the latter option would be disastrous as it would import all of these public events into each users’ personal calendar and will not periodically update.
Currently, when clicking on a webcal://domain.com/NewCalendar.ics, the behaviour are as follows:
1) Outlook 2016 fetches the .ics file, creates a new calendar, names it based on the ‘X-WR-CALNAME’ field, and likewise for the ‘X-WR-CALDESC’ field & sets it up as an ‘Internet Calendar’ in the Outlook ‘Account Settings’ with periodic updates. If the ‘X-WR-CALNAME’ is not present, it names it as ‘untitled’.
2) The latest iOS/Apple Calendar and Google Calendar does the same, except, if it doesn’t find ‘X-WR-CALNAME’, it names it as the URL.If there are compatibility issues for other users, then, there should be an option in the plugin settings, in the ‘subscribe to filtered calendar’ drop-down menu or even additional option in the webcal link webcal://mydoamin.com/?plugin=all-in-one-event-calendar&controller=ai1ec_exporter_controller&action=export_events&no_html=true&ai1ec_cat_ids=82

Hi @sunny454,
Thanks for the swift reply.
Yes, this is the case when I export 1 specific event, but, when I export a filtered calendar, it doesn’t have the calendar name in the tag.
So, when a user goes to: mydomain.com/calendar/cat_ids~82/ and then clicks on ‘Subscribe to filtered calendar’, then clicks on any of the available options, the user is directed to: https://mydoamin.com/?plugin=all-in-one-event-calendar&controller=ai1ec_exporter_controller&action=export_events&no_html=true&ai1ec_cat_ids=82
This exported .ics file doesn’t have the calendar name (X-WR-CALNAME) or description (X-WR-CALDESC) field.
Hope this helps address the issue.
Thanks,
Just so the community knows, i’ve used a different method now! it works very good, initially had to do some PHP code editing on files, now changes are all done on the users end by editing a WP page.
I just created a WP Page template that only shows the contents of the page. Then created a new page and assigned the template. In the page, the only content is;
[adrotate group="1"]
Works very well with FBIA too! However it will still be good if the plugin can support that with just a simple URL like, https://example.com/?adrotate_group=1&rotation=5secs and the resulting page should only have the the ad as the content of the page, nothing else, no header, no footer, no sidebars & etc…
Hi,
Thanks for the reply.
You see how I have the option to place the ad whereever I want with these short codes; as shown below:
In a post or page [adrotate banner="38"] Directly in a theme <?php echo adrotate_ad(38); ?>
OR
In a post or page [adrotate group="1"] Directly in a theme <?php echo adrotate_group(1); ?>
I want to be able to show my ads on FBIA. Facebook suggests that the ads are in an iFrame that can be embedded on FBIA.
So, is there an option on Adrotate Pro to get an iFrame link for the ads, instead of a PHP function?
Thanks,

In reply to: [OneSignal - Web Push Notifications] Can I use my own domain?Great, thanks for that.
Our current domain and sub-domains are going to Cloudflare HTTPS. We do not wish to expose our server’s IP address, will implementing these steps;
1) Expose our Server’s IP address
2) or Cloudflare’s IP address
3) or OneSignal’s IP address?Thanks,
