HI, thank you for responding. Finally figured out what was wrong — users (all of them) had lost their Admin privileges. Don’t know how, but after adding new Admin user directly in the database, it now works and I got in to set my user back to Admin.

Hi again, also installed Site Health and did Troubleshooting mode. That too created a critical error and broke the site.

Thanks t-p. I tried with all plugins disabled and that didn’t change anything. Just now I also tried by switching to the 2020 WP theme and it broke the site (critical error). I’m restoring it right now.

I’ll see if it clears itself up the next time a WP update comes out since I don’t dare messing with it again.

Unless you have another solution to propose.

I have the same issue. Deactivating/Activating didn’t help. Is there a fix?

Hi, since it won’t let me connect the FTP log is short. I am copying it below, hope that’s OK.

Also, I would need to ask GoDaddy if anything at their end would prevent from connecting to ftp on a different host. I have no problem connecting from other sources with the same info.

Hi, the site is hosted with GoDaddy but I want to send a backup to our account with Network Solutions. There shouldn’t be any issues connecting as far as I understand, so any idea if it might be an Updraft issue in itself?

I am not sure how to check that other than that I called Network Solutions where the FTP account is. I am a home-based office so firewall shouldn’t be an issue, right?

You mean the FTP username and password? If so, it is correct. I can connect just fine via Dreamweaver with the exact same info.

Thanks for looking at it. I’m also having issues with today’s events fall off the calendar before they are scheduled to happen. I’ve tried working with the date settings so maybe that’s it?
