yes, me too I’d love to know if there’s a piece of style.CSS where we can make the width wider and put those lines into custom-style.css

I do realize the Paid Pro version has all of those, but this small modification should be easy to share, I believe.

Two notes are important preventing a lot of disappointments:

1. WordPress framework and the Plugins upgrade frequently: Then many (custom) changes made inside header pages and css files get erased (read: reset) here-and-there. It’s impossible to keep track of all the changes/customizations that webmasters make to their websites…
It’s best to provide coding solutions that fits into the CUSTOM.CSS file, as the custom-css file remains unchanged at all times.
So for customizations and problem-solving, the custom-css file is the way to go.

2.
A note regarding giving external links to other websites documentations:
Websites links get changed/updated regularly as they are dynamic and in constant movement, it is therefore useless to include external links at all.

Just include the A&Q TOPIC POINT copied from the website inside your posts/messages.
This works a LOT EASIER, especially for the Novice people (an estimated 70& of website designers don’t know PHP, and that’s just fine, every person’s got his/her own strengths.)

What solved this issue for me was to open my FTP program.
I had created a subfolder called backup under my main directory.
I then set the Attributes to CMOD 777

(Using the ftp program) I entered the backup folder
in the ftp program main status window you will read two lines:
< 257 “/domains/websitename.com/public_html/internal” is the current directory
~ Using cached directory listing for /domains/websitename.com/public_html/internal/

so I copied /domains/websitename.com/public_html/internal/ and insterted this line into the: UNDRAFTPLUS SETTINGS > Remote Path

Then RUN THE TEST, and it’ll say ” SUCCESS

I went to the site just now, ( Sun. Jan 19th, 2014, around 6PM your time ) but I noticed nothing, no pop-up appeared.
I am using Windows Vista (when I open your page, there is no Virus-warning appearing or anything.)

Maybe another page causing this in another Safari-Window that’s still open ?! (you restarted your PC already ?)

The “Backoffice-Bereich” page you mention leads to a German internet-consultant. But I’d advise you to ignore that altogether.

You could try to figure out “what that site is doing there”:
You can FTP-download your (whole) WordPress site + make a backup of your DATABASE: both to a folder on your PC/Mac.
Run a Search for: solutionmatrix.de in the downloaded WordPress site.
Using PHPMyAdmin you could browse/search through your database for the same.

After you uploaded your site using FTP, did you set your Folder settings back to MOD 755 ? (or are they still 777, which means they are OPEN. More on this here: https://codex.www.ads-software.com/Changing_File_Permissions)

I have tried post-content-shortcodes plugin
[post-content post_name=”this-is-my-cool-post” blog=1]
from the top (main) domain.
When using blog= as website address, page is messed-up, but using blog=1
it simply only shows an empty page.

Maybe there would be a way to ask the page to address the top domain database ? somewhere, somehow ?

I want to let the subdomain page to get information from a domain page > when I re-work the domain page, the subdomain page will see the changes and accept the changes too.
That way, I won’t have to re-work 4 pages ( 1 domain site and 3 subdomains) every time.

Thanks for your feedback. I motivate and explain the results using this plugin:

I need to get the page contents ‘auto-inserted’ (GET-function) from Main domain page to Subdomain page using shortcode.
Motivation: using 4 domains basically I don’t wanna always have to change Contact page contents of 4 sites, better change that in 1 page only. (And then the other 3 subdomain pages ‘auto-change’ as well. Hence, the required GET-function)

When clicking on the Contact page of a subdomain, it currently leads BACK to Main domain Contact page, and this is not what I want. I need visitor to stay inside the Subdomain.

(If it were bad for Google’s SEO, well, then so-be-it. As long as I can work with ‘my thing’ then that’s all.)

The post-content-shortcodes plugin works with Posts, not Pages. But I figured if I learn how to use that as a first step, then I will learn to understand how it could work with Pages too.
(And then I would ask the Plugin author how That could be done, in order to get my desired end-result). ^__^

So, here-goes-the-result:

1. I installed the post-content-shortcodes plugin in the subdomain site.

2. Added the basic shortcode [post-content post_name="nieuwe-jurken-binnen"]
testresult: Plugin works good INSIDE Subdomain

3. Added the Multisite shortcode [post-content post_name="nieuwe-jurken-binnen" blog="www.dreamhousestudio.net"]
result: Page all messed up

I quote the FAQ:

There is a known issue where HTML (especially [caption] shortcodes) within the excerpt can break the entire page. In order to avoid this, be sure to place the tag above the [caption] shortcode within the posts being pulled into the post-list shortcode.

But then-again, I don’t know where-to-get-the-Tag-from …
They also mention using shortcode [post-content post_name="this-is-my-cool-post" blog=10] but I have nooooo idea how to get to my main domain blog-number

Of course I’m learning WP more-and-more continually, but when I have to start looking in the WP Codex, then I’m lost. ??

Yes, I do agree Internet Explorer is a mess ! heheheheh.
On the other hand, it does still account for a vast user marketshare percentage.
You could perhaps need extra resources, people to help you coding ?? (IDK) ??

As I had told you, I do LOVE your APOINTMENT CALENDAR, it’s just GREAT.
However I do miss some new customer bookings, as I saw from my statistics. (So I’d like to know if I could resolve this in any way, maybe I would resort to using some creative backup contact form or something.)

I’ve been adding lines in several css files now, trying to get my appointment window text to show up.

Step 1. go KLICK to make New Appointment
Step 2. choose date and service, then click NEXT

in Step 3. scroll down:
view the Form fields: NAME, EMAIL, PHONE and SPECIAL INSTRUCTION
show up in white color now.

I believe this is inherited from the main CSS file that belongs with the THEME.

I been at this for the past few hours, and I’m Toast now.
I hope you guys could help to make those fields color show up in Black,
I would prefer to adjust this in the fullcalendar.css form.

Note that I had been real eagerly waiting for your reply, problems regarding backups are very highly sensitive I believe.

I haven’t heard from you yet, in the meantime my Hosting provider has resolved this issue using their own backup copy.

Nevertheless I hope you will still be able to provide a simple step-by-step walkthrough of how-to-correctly-reset the database.sql
This way I’ll be able to have a good understanding of how-to-work-with WP Complete Backup correctly.
