In reply to: [Jetpack VideoPress] Problème visionnage de vidéoHi MC,
I’m sorry to hear you’re having that problem! We do our support in English, so I’ll be replying in English for now. You’re welcome to continue in French and I can enter your message into Google Translate, or you can continue in English if you’d prefer.
Can you please give us a bit more information, including:
- Have you been able to reproduce this problem
- URL of one of the videos
- Exact error message student is seeing
Thank you!
Thanks for those details. I believe the issue you are experiencing is related to this bug:
https://github.com/Automattic/wp-calypso/issues/76422
which we are aware of and hope to have fixed soon.
It affects some blocks but not others. From your report, sounds like it is affecting inline code blocks.
If you are able to present the code in a Paragraph Block, then that would be one workaround (not ideal, I know). Or you could switch to sending just an excerpt in your emails, which encourages users to click on the post itself for all the content:
https://jetpack.com/support/subscriptions/
I have added your report to the GitHub issue, which I would encourage you to follow to stay updated.
Thank you!
@imdtracy Could you please start your own thread, as per the?Forum Welcome guidelines?

Hi there,
Thanks for this report!
I’d like to clarify that the report under “Links are not crawlable” is pointing to the code on the page that looks like a link, but doesn’t function as normal link. Google detects these codes as links, however, Google can’t crawl them because the links don’t actually work.?
?
This is not an error on the page itself, but rather a warning from Google that some of the “links” within the page don’t work, so Google can not follow those links to index them. This is not an issue that would prevent your main page from being crawled or indexed. And this doesn’t affect the page’s performance in general.?
?
This report would be useful in the following scenario:?
?
For instance, you insert an image to a page and you hope that the image link will be indexed by Google Image. However, the link added to the image is broken, for example, because of a typo. In this situation, Google would notice that this image link has an issue and can’t be crawled, so Google would add this image code under “Links are not crawlable” report so you can then locate the issue and fix the image link. Your main page is still crawlable, but the image isn’t.?We do have an open issue to try and improve this, but I don’t have a timeline on when it might be addressed. Because it does not break the functionality of Carousel or sites, we have not made it a high priority.
Feel free to follow that GitHub issue to get updates, and let us know if you have any other questions!
Thank you.

In reply to: [Jetpack Social] Cant even startHey @trevorvb!
Really sorry to hear that you’ve had this problem. Are you downloading the Jetpack Social plugin from your WP Admin dashboard or from here https://www.ads-software.com/plugins/jetpack-social/ and then uploading?
I’ve just tested both ways and wasn’t able to reproduce an issue, so we’d like to look into this further. Do you have any screenshots you can share? If you’d rather share that privately, you can send it to [email protected].
Thank you!
Thanks for that. It can be hard to diagnose these kinds of problems if Jetpack isn’t active on your site. But if it was causing a fatal error I can understand why that isn’t possible.
Could you please let us know which version of Jetpack you were using before you disabled it?

In reply to: [Sensei LMS - Online Courses, Quizzes, & Learning] Auto-grade doesn’t workThank you for those details!
Next question: Have you set up the Autograde function in?Lesson edit page under Quiz settings?
If you are experiencing the same issue as reported in this GitHub issue, then a workaround is described by Guarav here:

In reply to: [Jetpack - WP Security, Backup, Speed, & Growth] Stats from February are lostHiya danhotchkiss,
This sounds like it might be due to what we call an Identity Crisis (IDC). https://jetpack.com/support/safe-mode/An IDC can cause some stats to go missing, but we are almost always able to find them in our system and merge them back to your main site.
Can you please share the URLs of any staging sites you have used? That will help us track down the missing stats.
Thanks!
Hi JMaartenW,
Really sorry to hear that! It sounds like you’ve already taken a lot of the troubleshooting steps we would recommend.
Just to confirm, this is when you updated to Sensei LMS 4.13.1 and WordPress 6.2?

In reply to: [Jetpack Social] good pluginHi @sh8adat,
Thank you for the review!
Jetpack’s social auto-sharing feature, formerly known as Publicize, has been free since it was first released 10 years ago. During that time, it rarely received any significant updates, and the features that have been added were only available with a paid plan.
With over 1 million posts shared per day, we’re excited to start giving our sharing feature the time it deserves. We now have a dedicated team working full-time to take auto-sharing to the next level, along with several other planned features, collectively known as Jetpack Social.
If you’re a casual user, you can continue to make up to 30 social shares per within 30 days for free, and you will also have free access to the social previews and re-sharing features, which have previously only been available with a paid plan.
If you share more than 30 times within 30 days, you can upgrade to the new Basic plan. For an introductory period, the plan includes unlimited shares. The first month is $1, followed by a $10/month subscription (billed yearly).
And since posts are usually meant to be dynamic (news, updates, etc.) and pages are normally more static, we kept Social limited to posts.
You can check our FAQ page for more information, but if you still have questions, please let us know, and we’ll be happy to help!
Hi again! Thanks for your patience while we looked into this. This is saved in the?
wp_usermeta
?table with the meta_key?sensei_certificates_view_by_public
?and can be retrieved by using the function?https://developer.www.ads-software.com/reference/functions/get_user_option/.If you wanted to enable it for all users by default, this hook might come in handy:?https://developer.www.ads-software.com/reference/hooks/get_user_option_option/
Hope that’s of some use!
Sounds good! Thanks for the update! Let us know if there’s anything else you have a question about.

Hi there,
Thanks for the extra information. Because this problem is happening inconsistently and with no obvious pattern, the next step I’d like to suggest is testing for plugin conflicts:
https://jetpack.com/support/troubleshooting-plugin-and-theme-conflicts/
Please let us know if you are able to find any changes in behavior based on different plugins being deactivated, and we’ll go from there.
