Again, just tried to subscribe to my blog again as outlined and receive the confirmation link but when clicking it always comes back “Your Subscription Confirmation link is expired or invalid” – is there anything I can do to troubleshoot issues there please? Thank you again!
This can sometimes be caused by your email client truncating the link for some reason. I just tested subscribing to the blog with our test email address [email protected] and the confirmation link I received via email worked fine.
It might be best if you share both the email address and a copy of the confirmation email you’re receiving, so we can look into it more closely. You can contact us directly so you don’t have to share those details in a public forum. It would be helpful if you included a link to this forum thread in your email, so we can connect the two conversations.

To make sure I understand the issue:
if I want to edit a slideshow it takes a very long time before the images are loaded
Do you mean it takes a long time before the images are loaded in the Media Library Gallery as shown here: https://d.pr/i/JTyg3K
I’ve tried reproducing the problem, and my gallery (as shown in the screenshot) loads instantly, so I didn’t have any opportunity to stop the editing process and start again.
Please let me know if I’ve misunderstood something about the flow you are experiencing!

I would love to be your fav forever! ?? Unfortunately that doesn’t sound like it’s related to Jetpack in any way, so I wouldn’t be able to advise. I would suggest opening a new thread in the WordPress forums and see if anyone else has had a similar issue. Be sure to include details about the exact page where it isn’t showing up

First off, the Jetpack connection to your site is broken. So let’s get that fixed.
I took a look, and while your site is publicly accessible, we cannot access your site’s XML-RPC file:
This file is used by Jetpack and other plugins and apps to connect to your site. It must return the following message:
XML-RPC server accepts POST requests only.
You can see a working example here:
Since your site returns a 404 error for this page, I would recommend that you check the following:
- Can you see the /xmlrpc.php file at the root of your WordPress installation when accessing your site via FTP? If you don’t, then please try re-installing WordPress. You can do this by going to the Dashboard -> Upgrades page, then click the “Reinstall” button.
- Do you use any security plugins that may block access to this file? If so, could you try to disable them? You might also want to check your site’s .htaccess file for any rules that might be blocking access to the xmlrpc.php file.
- Does your hosting provider block access to this file? If you don’t find any plugin that may block access to the file on your site, I would recommend that you get in touch with your host.
Once we are able to access your site’s xmlrpc.php file, please try to reconnect your site:

In general, posts, pages, products, and custom post types count as records.?Jetpack Search doesn’t count media library files unless they have their post status set to?publish. Most attachments are indexed for free.?Tags should not be included in the total count of what we are indexing.
