Hi there,
I’m trying to remove the “share this” buttons that appear on half on my sites pages.
In block-based themes, the sharing button option is activated by default. You can disable it by going to WP Admin > Jetpack > Settings > Sharing. The direct link is https://pegasusrealm.com/wp-admin/admin.php?page=jetpack#/sharing.
Can you try toggling th
Add sharing buttons to your posts and pages
option to OFF?That should remove the buttons.
However, my site won’t appear in WordPress.?
I think you mean your site isn’t showing up in the WordPress.com Reader? Is that what you’re saying?
I do see it here: https://wordpress.com/read/feeds/142150393
Please note: Since you are using a free Jetpack plan, your posts will not appear in the Posts search results in the Reader. You can consider upgrading if you’d like the posts to appear in search results. For now, your site will only appear in the Sites search results.
Please let me know if I’ve misunderstood something!
Thank you,

In reply to: [Jetpack - WP Security, Backup, Speed, & Growth] CRITICAL ERRORHi @paulwolff1018 ,
Sorry to hear you’ve run into that error!
I don’t see any screenshot included, but I’ve just checked and can access both https://paulwolffracing.com/wp-login.php and https://paulwolffracing.com/; has the problem been solved?
Hi @hassantafreshi,
Thanks for your question!
There should be no conflict with Jetpack.?
wp_cache_get
?and?wp_cache_set
?are standard functions made available by WordPress itself, and used by lots of plugins, including Jetpack. As long as the cache key is unique (efbFunctionInstance
?in this case, a key that is not used by the Jetpack plugin), it is not expected to conflict with other plugins.Let us know if you have any other questions!
Hi there,
Thanks for reporting this, and I’m sorry to hear you’ve run into this issue!
When you say the most recent post wasn’t emailed to your subscribers, are you referring to this blog post? https://justadandak.com/peo-course-review-figuring-out-next-moves/
Our logs do show that it was emailed to your subscribers, so I’m curious if you’re seeing something different. I also see it in your list of recent emails when looking at https://wordpress.com/stats/subscribers/justadandak.com. Screenshot: https://d.pr/i/gxxTQ6
Please let me know if I’m misunderstanding something!
Please see our reply on this thread: https://www.ads-software.com/support/topic/unfair-criteria-for-commercial-site/
Thank you!
Hi there,
Thanks for taking the time to post. I hear where you’re coming from, and how we’re handling commercial sites is actively evolving. While we may change this in the future, right now any site that attempts to earn money in any way is classed as a commercial site. Right now we don’t differentiate between sites that make a lot of money, or only a little money from their commercial efforts.
If you ever remove the donations buttons and hosting referral links, you’d be very welcome to use Jetpack Stats again for free.
Let us know if we can help with anything else!

In reply to: [Jetpack - WP Security, Backup, Speed, & Growth] Jetpack causing editor errorHi there,
Thanks for reporting that error! It looks like you’ve deactivated Jetpack on your site for now? For us to troubleshoot, we need the Jetpack connection to be active. It’s fine to stay on 13.5, but please reconnect Jetpack and let us know when you’ve done that so we can dig into this.Thank you!

In reply to: [Jetpack - WP Security, Backup, Speed, & Growth] multiple sitesHi @flyingfox82 ,
Thanks for reaching out!
I’m curious if you used the chatbot on our support page to ask your question? If so, then I would like to improve how we handle your question, since pre-sales questions should indeed be treated differently than general support questions.
That said, these forums are monitored by Jetpack staff; it’s a different way of routing and triaging questions, but most if not all are answered by staff just the same.
So, to answer your question:
I have multiple sites, but they are all mine. If I pay, does that mean i can support all of my sites for the cost, or is it only per site
Generally speaking, each site requires its own Jetpack license. If you are an agency managing multiple sites, we offer bulk discounts via our Automattic for Agencies program, which you can read about here: https://automattic.com/for-agencies/
Please let us know if you have further questions about that!
Hi @geekiro,
Thank you for taking the time to share such detailed and thoughtful feedback with us. We understand that how costs impact our users can vary greatly depending on where they are in the world.
I have passed on your suggestions to our team so they can take them into consideration.
Currently, we are offered a 50% discount for the first year of subscription, but what happens after that? If our site doesn’t manage to attract a lot of traffic, what do we do?
After the first year, you’ll be asked to renew at the full price of the plan. It’s always possible we could change our pricing in that time, but there are not currently plans to do so right now.
If you wish to continue using Jetpack stats at that point, you can consider removing the commercial aspects of your site (ads, affiliate links, etc.) to continue using Jetpack for free. If your traffic is low enough, then it may not make financial sense to run ads on it at this time.
Hi Terence,
Thanks for confirming your versions of things! Could you please let us know the URL of the site so we can look into this further? If you want it to remain private, you can also contact us via?contact form. If you choose to reach out directly, please include a link to this thread.
Thank you!
Hi @mc-atty,
Thanks for the extra details! I’m going to add them to the open email thread we have with you (ref# 8517406) and we will continue the conversation there. It will be easier if we keep everything in one place.

In reply to: [Jetpack - WP Security, Backup, Speed, & Growth] Social Media Embeds ProblemHi @vdn-staff,
Thanks for your patience as we work through our forum replies.
For Instagram, it must be something specific that that account that you cannot embed reels, but otherwise they are working.
It looks like the Tweet is properly embedded on your page now; did you fix it by using the Twitter block?

In reply to: [Akismet Anti-spam: Spam Protection] Error code 10033Hi there,
I have previously contacted you and been assured from your pre sales department that as we are a not profit making club we would not need a paid subscription.
Thanks for reaching out, and I’m sorry about that error.
We had classified your account slightly incorrectly on our end, so that’s our mistake. I’ve updated things in our system, so you shouldn’t receive that error any longer and Akismet will keep working as it should.
Please let us know if it comes back, or if we can help with anything else!
