In reply to: [Sermon Manager] Sermon Manager changes HTTPS to HTTP in “enclosure URL”I’ve found a workaround for this issue. I “fixed” it by checking the code and figuring out where it is changing the “HTTPS” to “HTTP”. The culprit is in \views\wpfc-podcast-feed.php on lines 306 and 337. Simply changing “HTTP” to “HTTPS” in these lines resolves the issue. However, this will need to be done every time the plugin is updated.
Would it be possible to have this permanently removed in future updates? I’m guessing at one point HTTPS in podcast streams may not have been supported by some clients, but I think that time is past. In fact, Google Podcasts won’t even play streams on non-HTTPS locations.
@cavalierlife Any update on this? To my knowledge, the issue has not been resolved yet.
@cavalierlife I have a direct email address for Kyle Johnson at Ninja Forms if that would be helpful. You can also try [email protected]. That had worked for me in the past.
I haven’t updated the Elementor plugin in a while but based on the changelogs I don’t believe it’s been fixed. I haven’t heard back from either company on a permanent fix for this.
It’s frustrating because they’re both good products, but I’m afraid I may have to ditch one or the other if data loss is an ongoing risk with running both simultaneously.
I’m working on this issue with a tech from Ninja Forms. He contacted support, they sent him to GitHub. Then someone on GitHub told him to contact support and closed the ticket. Do you have any contacts at Elementor that could help us clear this up?

Thanks
I had the same issue with version 1.88 of the plugin. It seems files with special characters can’t be downloaded using the plugin. I rolled back to version 1.86 and it fixed it.
@brit77 I’m also using Android (Chrome browser on a Galaxy S7 to be exact) and it downloads the file to my downloads as well. What device are you using?
@jaycbrf This worked! Thanks!
@sevsnaive if you are still looking as well, here’s the solution!
@pupunzi please add the ability to enable/disable downloading on mobile devices. It would be nice to not have to edit the plugin each time there’s an update. With modern touch devices, downloading is not a problem.
