I uploaded it to just the top level WordPress file folder. I also tried to rename the file, but I received an error message that its an invalid file name. Any other suggestions about how to fix the fact that all of our pages are not displaying?

Does it matter which folder it goes into? Or can it go into the main WordPress file?

I tried that – same error is still occurring. I have deleted all the contact forms on the website as well, so there should be no reference to them whatsoever.

I had read previous forums where people seemed to be experiencing the 404 error and it happened to be a hosting issue. But I spoke with our hosting provider last night and they said it was this error, which is a wordpress error, not a hosting error.

Any other ideas? We have a lot of work into this site and content that I would hate to delete it all and have to re-start.

Ok, I just did it again. Because I’m wanting to make sure I’m not loosing my mind. When I de-activated stendhal and activated wordpress basic theme 2012, all my pages show up. So yes, now I know its stendhal. I’ll see if they can fix on their end. Not sure why they weren’t displaying earlier with wordpress 2012, maybe I was too fast with everything and it didn’t load properly.

    Thanks!

Yes and yes. We are using Stendahl from yithemes. I’m going to make a call to yahoo hosting and see if there is anything that they can do as well. I’m just not sure if this is a theme, wordpress or hosting issue.

Yes, I have. I also looked at previous posts about this issue, but they are related to an older version of WordPress. I have deactivated all of our plugins and that has not helped (as it was suggested in one old posting in the forum). We have a lot of content on our site and I don’t think this issue should require me to deactivate and reactivate WordPress and have to re-build every time this happens.
