I’m using Easy Table of Contents and it doesn’t cause any problems with DCL. Don’t know if Easy ToC would work for your environment, but here’s the plugin link.

Update: I found how to fix a part of the problem. If I go to my Pages on my WordPress dashboard, and then Quick Edit a page, I have an option to check a box “Allow Comments”. If I do that, the comment thread reappears on the page. So the shortcode works. Perhaps one of the DCL plugin updates disabled this setting on all pages, as it used to work.

This fixed my issue entirely. My comments are now loading on the page I wanted, as well as my posts. Here’s the link just to see the page I’m talking about. https://www.hwhound.com/finding-the-best-cpu-cooler-comparisons/

@metallikat36 Did you try disabling your plugins one by one to see if there’s one particular one causing your problem? I assume you probably did, but doesn’t hurt to ask.

Was there an easy answer to this? I’m having the same issue trying to get the shortcode to work on a pillar content page I want comments to load with.
