That is not possible yet, as I’m not… yet… a paid customer… I have asked my team to buy the pro version… though they will most likely buy me the starter pack, that comes without support…

Maybe, but a lot of extensions do not work like that. There are extensions, of course, that have free updates forever, other extensions that have free automatic updates forever, and one year automatic updates, and other extensions that have just one year free updates, and after that you have to pay to get an update, or just keep the extension as it is, as long as it works.

And I prefer that, I mean, I prefer having the choice to keep the extension in its current state, as long as it works, and if one day it will not work anymore, I’ll buy the new version (it could be in one year, but it could also be in five years). I can’t tell my direction that I need to buy a 60$ annual fee just to avoid having to enter the location each time.

Note that modules have an annual fee, but the extension itself does not, and is free forever it seems. I’ll then just keep the extension, and will enter the locations each time…

Though this module seems to do much more than that, and even if I’m not against paying for modules, I don’t feel like paying a yearly fee for that. A one time purchase is fine, not a yearly fee…

In fact I think the issue is that you have divided the translation into single words, which could lead to issues in some languages.

For instance I have noticed the english sentence :
“Past %s”

In french it is “%s passé”.

The %s is uppercase and plural. So in fact there it works in french, but does it work in english? Shouldn’t you write in english “Past event” or “Past events” and not “Past Events”?

Are there other wildcards than %s, to call the events word in uppercase, lowercase, plural or not? As in different languages the word is not at the same place, therefore sometimes it should be with an uppercase letter, sometimes not…

In fact the translations are well down, I have checked them up.
Event is translated as évènement, event as évènement, and the same for the plural.
But I think the issue is when you use the %s wildcard…

The show all events link put an uppercase at events, unsure what the good sentence is in english, but I think it uses Events instead of events.

Trying to do the same with avada main file, but does not work…
I deleted the .pot file, opened the .po with Loco translate, try a save, then I checked in the avada folder, and no .pot file was created.

Seems avada does not like plugins to modify their files…

And when I try to download a .po or .pot through loco translate, I get a forbidden error.

As this extension write “import contact details”, I thought it only imports the “Contact info” (first name, last name) of a record ??

btw is this extension able to check if the record already exists (by checking some field) and so to not import double entries?
