I tried removing “og:site_name” tag from the php file of SEO open graph and cross checked by checking the page source but it is still showwing my site name while sharing the page on FB.

I tried with new google shortlink but not working as expected.

Please let me know if i am missing anything.

I am using SEO by Yoast in my website. I tried to manipulate the “og:site-name” meta tag but no luck. Can you please guide me on how to achieve this.

What do should be specified in place of my website name “hitbullshit” in “og:site-name” tag ? Should it be left “blank” or “goo.gl” or something else.

I posted this query almost a month ago and still struggling to get it done, any help would be really appreciated.

I got this resolved. I made my FB app visibility public and now its working fine

This plugin is really nice.

Can we add multiple user profiles in this so i can post to many user’s FB timeline in one shot ?

Yes I have chosen “Share a link to your blogpost” but it still not allowing me boost post. I have already mentioned above about the options i have marked in the facebook setting of plugin.
I have uninstalled the plugin and installed it once again.
Still the same issue.

Thanks for the prompt response.

I have checked inside wp-content/updraft and found below files –
“backup_2015-08-23-1320_–uploads2.zip.tmp” and other 3 “.tmp” file all having size > 300 MB.

If i delete these .tmp files, can it affect my site in anyway.
Just being more cautious as i have never performed this operation.

Also I have made contact with Facebook and according to them the issue is with the meta-tags.

Hi Team,

I got the root cause for this issue and would need your help to find the solution..

When i am sharing the post from my desktop it is generating URL as -“https://www.facebook.com/sharer/sharer.php?u=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.hitbullshit.com%2Fwp%2Fmission-impossible-5-rogue-nation-reviews%2F&t=Mission%20Impossible%205%20%E2%80%93%20Rogue%20Nation%20Reviews..%21%21&v=3”

so nothing other than URL tags here,

But when i am sharing it from any mobile then it is generating URL as –
“https://m.facebook.com/sharer.php?u=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.hitbullshit.com%2Fwp%2Fsalman-khan-recorded-title-song-of-hero-promoting-movie-in-his-own-style%2F&sid=0&app_id=966242223397117&referrer=social_plugin”
which connects using my Old HITBULLSHIT Facebook App ID – 966242223397117 which does not exists.

When i tried the same URL with my new App ID – 844331688970263 , it worked perfect and the posts are getting shared properly.

Now i need to update my Old App ID with my new App ID so that it always generate the URL using my new App ID.

Kindly let me know how to update this.
This solution will definitely be useful to others as well.

As is looks to be the known issue, Do we have any alternative workaround for this?
I am not that familiar with the coding to twist the plugin codes. But if you know how to skip/surpass this by making any changes to codings, that would be really helpful.

I am expecting this bcoz the issue is occurring with many users so any backdoor solution would be really helpful for us..

This is the best plugin i have ever used ??
