Thanks. I think it’s alright you accepted the issue though it is definitely not that critical. Still, I hope it gets resolved. Just ending with a positive note – I observed Elementor is getting better, definitely far better than the last years updates.

I have checked and found that the WP_DEBUG flag is already set to FALSE. However, it made me curious why should this error be dependent on the error flag? There could be many instances when we need to turn on the debugging, so will this error always come in those cases. There should be a cleaner way to handle the frontend JS error.

In reply to: [List category posts] LCP widget creating a link with no anchor textI had a deeper look at the widget options, but it is not disabling this empty link created by the more-link function of the plugin. It is the link to the current category with out an anchor text which appears in the widget’s HTML at the bottom. It is not visible in the foreground /page as it does not have any anchor text.
My LCP widget settings are: I have set it to show posts from current category, sorted based on titles, excluding the current post (using this), listing 10 posts, w/o any featured images, w/o linking title to the current category.Sure. Here are the details:
- LCP: 0.89.2
- PHP: 8.1.25 @64BitOS
- WP: 6.4.1
I used the LCP sidebar widget to display the category-specific posts, not the shortcode. Here is the link where you can see my LCP widget settings: LCP widget settings
By the way, since I have choose to list post belonging to the current category, so I made sure that the widget only display on either category pages or posts, nowhere.

Nice catch. It could be true. But let me share my cache liefspan setting where I set the cache time to 0 and in the time drop-down, the Month option was selected. In this case, the cache was not retaining itself. However, now, I changed the time unit from Month to day value. And after that, I can confirm that the cache started working properly.
The sidebar widget to show the latest posts remained there in both cases.

But this is happening in my case. Why don’t we have this finer control on cache deletion that would have taken care of all such issues.
To add one more path which is even “Updating any existing post or posts makes the entire cache cleared”. All of this actually should be configurable via plugin settings or by adding some filters.

In reply to: [Easy Table of Contents] Not What I Wanted@andrewsouthworth – Still, I think you can achieve what you want. Just add the shortcode in your post and set it as a reusable block. In the block editor, you can even set a paragraph as a reusable block.
Once done, include the block in all of your future posts. I have done it for other things and not faced any issues. But apply your due diligence and decide whether or not to use this approach.

Hello – I’m just replying to because I’d faced the similar issue with a different plugin as well. And as per my observation, the duplicate ad issue shouldn’t be because of the plugin. Instead, it’s the ad provider which is controlling the ads. For example, I was using a large banner ad and another one was of 728*90 size and their codes were different as well but both of them popped up the same ad. It does look bad but potentially it could be because there weren’t enough ad inventory available.
