I changed the settings in my admin panel under Settings>General and removed the /front/ from both URLS. Now I cn get to the proper admin area in my root BUT when I click on my link to go to my admin… for some reason this happens

The link I am clicking is https://fishinpedia.com/wp-admin/ (it’s on a local html document that I keep all my regularly used urls on for quick access)

I cant figure out why the redirect is being added. It never did this until my host moved my WordPress from the subfolder to the root (as I wanted)

if I remove all after the ? mark I can then login. I need to figure out why ?redirect_to=https%3A%2F%2Ffishinpedia.com%2Fwp-admin%2F&reauth=1 is being added to the url

to back up my database, I can just export from PhpMyAdmin? correct? or is that not a good practice?

then what happens? (sorry if that a silly question)

Im having issues similar. My image upon upload is 75k and then once in the gallery its 360k. Dimensions of image remains the same 800×600
I have my quality set to 30. I started at 80 went to 45 and now at 30 and the image always ends up larger in kb after upload than the original on my hard drive

I just uploaded a new file just to be sure I wasnt crazy.
File is 569×600 and was 113k.
after upload, its still 569×600 BUT it is 517kb!

Please help me resolve this else I will have no choice but to find another gallery option.

I NEED a gallery but I need the files to have smaller footprints.

I don’t have many plugins installed so I have been pulling my hair out trying to figure why my pages load slow.

Is there a board on here that I can go and list my plugins and get opinions as to how to speed up my site?

What would be a good caching plugin Yui? I was using w3 cache but as soon as I disabled it my site sped up.

and still no url is being posted

Hmm thats completely backwards from all gallery software I have ever used. You sure that is correct????

Is there some documentation that will explain to me how to set up the hierarchy? so that albums have multiple galleries in it?

I want one main album and i want many galleries within it.
