The purpose of the “Home Page” template is to show the default theme content with slider, featured section, about us section, tab section and client logo section. So any content into this template from the page editor does not displays. But if you do not choose the “Home Page” template then you can show the content from the page editor.

There is different way to show your content on the home page. Like you can use “About us” section from the customizer panel to show your content.

The default number of post that shows in the blog page is 10. You can change the number from Settings -> Reading Page of the dashboard menu.

The latest post option in the setting does not show the blog page but instead shows “Square” Theme demo layout.

Option to add the header image added and sidebar bug also fixed in the latest update release.

It seems that you are having problem in adding the sidebar to the pages. We had this bug in one of your older version which is fixed in the latest update. So please update to the latest version.

You can add the sidebar from the Appearance -> Widget pages in the widget area named “Right Sidebar”

The theme does not allows you to add/remove the slides. The theme allows you to add only 3 slider. If you leave them all empty, the slider should get removed.

Basically the theme works in two ways. Either you set your front page display to latest post or use a static page. The static page only work when you assign a Home Template to that page.

The sidebar bug is already fixed in our latest update release along with few more added features. So please update the theme to the latest version.

And yes we don’t have full documentation yet. I have been a bit busy so haven’t able to give time to prepare a documentation but hopefully i would come up with documentation very soon. And the same case is for our website. It is not fully completed.

Here is the CSS that helps you to change the font size and color of the header banner

.sq-main-title{font-size:40px; color: #FF0000}

And please do not make changes in the code directly as you also seems to know that the changes get over written when updating the theme.

So you need to use some additional plugin that allows you to add custom CSS.

There is no option to remove the sidebar. But yes, it can be done with some custom CSS Code. Here is the code

#primary{float:none;width:auto;}
#secondary{display:none;}

Use some Custom CSS plugin to add the CSS.

Sorry, there is no option to remove the sidebar in the theme. The theme has right sidebar by default which is not removable.
