  • Now that is weird…the moment I wrote this email and logged in I can access the page via the root. It seems that some photos and sidebars are missing and the home button redirects to wrong folder but the rest seems ok…

It seems I have run into similar problems, same 500 error after moving everything. But I am able to access the admin after the move but I am not able to see the website.

I followed the instructions from wordpress to move a multi site install from a folder to the root.

It seems that in some occasions it still refers to the /main directory which was the initial install location.

    – could be permalink issue, for sure it is interfering but I dont think that is the main issue
    – and in the network setting screen it still refers to /main for the ‘home’ – that seems the real issue but I dont know where to change this? browsing through files as we speak..

It looks like if I am able to change the home and than the permalinks it is solved…

    any ideas/suggestions?

    thanks.
