I’ve programmed in several different languages over time, starting with Pascel when I was in highschool…

I already have a proceedure thought up in my head so it shouldn’t be hard, i just need to get the coding figured out and structure for a plugin…

All i need is to clear any current badges the user has then i put in a certain one based on input from the shortcode (prolly the badge id number).. I’ll give it to you for consideration once I get it together… This is a free project for a friend of a friend so i’m not putting much time into it, but i am enjoying the learning so no idea how long it’ll take ??

i will look at coding this myself, i haven’t ever done much with php coding but i know several other programming languages so i’ll get started on learning this one i guess.. the user avatar plugin wont work for us because we want the people to have their own avatar’s as well as a badge…

your badge plugin here seems to be the simplest way of getting that and now i’ll just work on making a way for users to select their own badge ?? don’t worry, once i figure it out, i’ll see about giving it to you. I think it’d be a great addition to have users able to select their own badge out of a group…

I had to change which email server I was using too. I am no longer using gmail for it and I am using the WP-Mail-SMTP plugin to access the new SMTP server I’m using…

Yes, the email works fine when I log into gmail and try to use it…

I also have other email addresses that I actively use with that domain name so I know it works fine…

I had looked at it and nothing looked relevant..

Another thought is that I’d like to make one of the slides (the sticky one) an advertisement. I can make it load a picture without any text as I want(make a blank post, hence the question about a sticky post), but how do i make it give the proper link instead of the link to the empty post?

Care to share how you did this? This is EXACTLY what I need and would like to use a simple solution…

The plugin was already the latest version, but I downloaded a fresh copy from www.ads-software.com and copied the files over top of the one’s that were in the web site and nothing was changed…

I don’t have any modified plugins or customized code used in this site so I really don’t know what this is from…

Even if there’s not, this is wonderful help you’ve given.. I’m helping a friend with her blog and this was something we were struggling with, so if she has to do that for each blog, that’s fine… I’m just trying to make it easier for her…

I would have done that, but on the create new post page (and editing a post page) there is no option for an excerpt…

any other idea’s?
