jnhghy…I apologize for being pretty novice with all this. So I should place “padding: 10px 0;” directly below the code “position: static;”? If this is correct, do I find and place your suggested code within style.css? Or somewhere else?

jnhghy…got it, the calendar and ad now have proper padding. However, I still would need padding in between photo image and ad within the archives of each page. For example,
youandthekids.com and then Arts & Crafts>That Was Fun, it will show you the list of posts I have but you can see the ads and photo’s require padding in between the two. Is there help to this by chance?

jonradio…the home page is actually fine. However, for example, if you go to Arts & Crafts>That Was Fun, you can see the calendar and advert are stuck to eachother rather than seperated on the sidebar. It is like this on all pages except for the home page. Would you be able to tell me what css or php file and where in the file I can possibly insert code to seperate the two? Thanks in advance!

By chance, would you be able to please let me know where to I can place spacing in between the calendar and ad along the sidebar? You will not see it on the homepage but rather on all the pages choosing from the drop down menus.

I am using QuickAdsense plug in and placed the widget to the sidebar but automatically places the ad directly below the calendar without any spacing. The ads also have appeared under the Archive photos witout spacing.

Andrew…thanks so much for the needed feedback. I am pretty novice with coding since I never took a class on it ever. I have a few questions:

1. I checked the link out that you attached. There are plenty of warning, error, and info icons with the suggested solutions. I do not know if they are from the original code from the theme and or from code that WP forum helpers suggested for me to insert in helping me build my site. Are there one’s I need to be very critical about in trying to fix somehow with my lack of programming/coding skills?

2. Home page took 4.3 seconds to load. How can I have my site load quicker? What speed would generally be ideal for the home page to load?

3. Color scheme. Where spcefically within the editor can I change the color scheme. I would like to change the two gray tones on the slide and where the articles are too.

4. Hyperlinks are not cons. styled. Can you explain this a litte more for me please?

@alchymyth…actually one more thing. Can you help me with the code and where to place it on how to seperate the two ads I had placed on the home page below recent articles? I would like to place a little space in between the two ads and move the top ad a little lower from the recent articles list too. Right now the two ads are stuck to eachother and the top ad seems to close to the list of recent articles.
