Disastrous version 2 launch aside, this is the single most frustrating issue with Ultimate Member. I get the desire for the plugin to work with all themes, but there has surely got to be a better way to handle this to aid developers that actually want to add their own styles? Perhaps a setting for strict styling? Ticked Yes, it loads a CSS file with important attributes, unticked, it loads a different CSS file, 99% identical but no !important tags?
I worked around this by using !important tags in my own theme CSS and then loading this as late as possible after Ultimate Member by changing the priority of the call. A process made even harder by the fact Ultimate Member loads almost 50 individual CSS/JS unminified files on every page – including pages that don’t have any UM functionality!
Apologies I’m currently out of the office, so will pick this up when I’m back a week on Monday ??
24:00 doesn’t exist in time. It goes from 23:59 to 00:00.
@themedutch It’s gone beyond patience. UM are being incredibly selective in what tickets they respond to, and there is noway something as unstable as 2.0 should have gone live.
I’m open to suggestions for alternatives. I’d be happy with just something that manages registrations and password management to be honest.

Any updates on this? I notice you’ve replied to hundreds of new posts created after this but, but this issue has gone ignored??
Hey,
Yeah the settings are all showing correct in admin. Even after logging out/back in etc. So nothing appears wrong there.
The override function is there on each page as expected but that is still set to off and keep default settings.
Worth noting also, in admin we have it set to only send notifications when adding new posts too, and not when updating. But those come too. ??
It seems images get stuck as temporary files in the wp-content/uploads folder and aren’t moved into the users own folder.
