In reply to: Child Theme does not workHello,
I too have a trouble with creating a child theme for TwentyTwelve. I used a plugin (One click Child theme), and it worked fine for my former theme (Brunelleschi), but with TwentyTwelve the layout is totally in a mess (colors, links etc). I tried it a couple of times with the same result. So for the moment I use it “out of the box”. but I’d like to make a few customizations however.
Here is the URL.
Any idea? Thx, in advance.Forum: Themes and Templates
In reply to: [Brunelleschi] Brunelleschi Header Image Height@wpyogi : Your help was useful. There was a conflict between the preset wrapper size and the customization I made. Now it works fine. Thanks again.
A very happy new year to you and to everyone here.Forum: Themes and Templates
In reply to: [Brunelleschi] Brunelleschi Header Image HeightOh yes the 1140px width is a preset (from the theme), and the 865px is the width I choose (I wrote it in the css customization box).
So I’ll try to upload new header images with the right width (865px) and the new height I want (394px).
I’ll post the result here when it will be done.
Thanks a lot WPyogi for helping.Forum: Plugins

In reply to: "Hum" Theme : Text overlaps content fieldHello msenate,
Actually I pasted your full code and it works fine. Possible that at the time I forgot to empty my browser cache. I don’t remember.
But anyway the issue is resolved now.
Here is the link to the French forum note.

In reply to: Thumbnails Settings not DisplayedOk. I reload all my images.
Thanks.Hello to everybody,
I remarked the same trouble since a long time but as I was working on this page I recently found a solution that worked.
1/ I wrote down the missing keyword (contemporary fresco painting) at the beginning of my page, making sure that the characters were set to “paragraph”, and not to “heading”, or “adress”.
2/ I emptied all the caches (with the “Performance” Button of the W3 Total Cache Plugin)
3/ I updated again the concerned page, but without changing anything.
4/ I checked the SEO with the SEO Plugin Button, and I could notice that the famous red light telling that the keyword did not appear in the first paragraph, had turned into a beautiful green one, telling it was Ok.
Hope this helps.

In reply to: "Hum" Theme : Text overlaps content fieldThanks a lot msenate for your good advice. Actually I also found a help in the french WP forum, and the advice was the same as yours, except the first line ( /* Do not force 100% width on one-column sites */ ), which was missing.
So I added it to my child theme Css, but I did not remark any changes, it works the same without it. So is it really necessary?Forum: Themes and Templates
In reply to: "Hum" Theme : Text overlaps content field2 hours later…
Now I found that my problem occurs only with pages, not with posts.
So my questions changes into :
How could make the text of my pages fit to the page size?Thanks a lot for your advices and for this forum that helps a lot beginners like me, or advanced as well, I guess.

I found a way to make my content field bigger by adding this code:
#primary {
width: ***px;
}
But the text still overlaps!
Cannot find the way to make it fit.Forum: Themes and Templates
In reply to: Brunelleschi theme : Warning on Posts and categoriesHello ishikoro the problem is resolved now :Kit Mac Allistair, the “father” of the Brunelleschi theme made a new version.
You can go here and download the new release : 1.4.8
Then you’ll have to upload it on nyout site from your computer (install themes / upload).
But fisrst you should check your custumizations (if you did some), such as background color… because you might have to do them again.If not, the easier way is to wait one day or two and you will be noticed in your WordPresse Dashboard of the automatic update. Then you’ll only have to do one clic.
Hope this helps!Forum: Themes and Templates

In reply to: Twenty Eleven : Adding a border to the main page posts content… Well finally… another little question?… How could this border be displayed ONLY on the main page, not on single posts, neither on author pages?
