    Hi Anders,

I noticed what might be a bug that I wanted to bring to your attention. The fix you offered above worked great in chrome, but I’m noticing in Safari that there is no spacing between the navigation links. I tried adding in a background color to see if that would change anything, but safari renders them the same either way. It’s no biggie for me since most of the traffic I get is via chrome, and the nav is still useable in safari this way, but thought it was worth mentioning in case you didn’t know.

Thanks again for all your help.

    Thanks Anders!

    I appreciate the help.

    1. Since I’m not sure what kind of custom css would be necessary to adjust the query pagination block, I’ve opted to just remove the numbers and limit functionality to previous and next pages.

    2. I’ve updated to 0.2.2, and the post content issue seems to have been fixed! Just wanted to note that without changing anything else, the total margins for the content on the main page appears to have disappeared, but I solved that by setting the group content to something less than 100% and that seems to have addressed this.

    Thanks again!

Ok, that wasn’t actually the last question, sorry!

You’ll notice on the main page that the post content has much more severe margins than the title and other elements in the query loop. Is there any way to change this so that the margins of all the elements in each post visible on the main page are aligned? These margins are attractive on the individual post pages, but it doesn’t look very nice on the main page. These margins are not visible in the preview window within the site editor, but end up applied on the published site.

I’ve tried adjusting the content width and wide width within the post content block settings, but that doesn’t seem to work to reduce the margins, only to expand them. I looked through the theme’s blocks.css but I couldn’t find anything relevant.

    Any insight would be appreciated.

Thank you Anders. Both of those suggestions worked perfectly.

One last question (sorry if these are elementary) —

How can I change the dimensions or formatting of the query pagination numbers? They end up stacking on top of one another because I can’t seem to change the dimensions of the block they’re inside of (I’d like the numbers to sit side by side on the same line instead of stacking).

    Thanks again.

Sorry for the premature post — I figured out (1) but I am still having trouble formatting the “post content” block so that it has a border.

    (2) I still can’t seem to figure out.

Wonderful! Thank you, both of those suggestions helped.

Thank you! That definitely helped. Unfortunately, as with so much, it seems to have created a new problem. I also applied the no-margin-bottom class to the navigation block, in an effort to get the social buttons block to move up a bit, and it changed all the spacing between the navigation links. I can’t show you what it used to look like, since I can’t seem to get it to revert, but you’ll notice now that the navigation links are pretty far apart from one another, and I’d like to have them return to how they were previously, which was just closer together. I tried putting them in a column block to squeeze them from the outside, but instead of changing their spacing, it just caused them to shift down to new lines when the outer columns were over a certain percentage of the full width.

The other issue is that the no-margin-bottom class didn’t seem to work on the navigation block, so the social buttons are still quite far down.

I really appreciate the assistance. Thanks again.

Alan, I just reposted this topic in the maxgalleria forum, but it seems evident that this support forum is far more active– plus the question that I’ve asked could additionally apply to the Maxgalleria plugin, not just the video showcase addon, am I wrong?

I look forward to your response. Thanks

Thanks again, Alan. I had suspected this was possible by replacing the thumbnail files.

One question though, should I replace ALL the images pulled from youtube? For instance I am seeing multiple size thumbs created from each video. Should I replace the main image, and the various sized thumbs, or just the thumb nail size currently being used in the gallery?

Thanks again, Alan — I was indeed using the inspector to try and identify where in the stylesheet this was coming from — but could not find anything about a ? symbol anywhere. Instead the symbol was being referred to as 0BB 200 — which allowed me to find the line causing the error.

Thanks, Alan – that seems to have fixed the problem! I’m not sure why I never noticed that text-indent attribute, it has never seemed to cause anything else to behave in this manner.

In any case, thanks again — will mark ‘resolved’!
