Ok, I tried out esmi’s idea and put tablepress on a site.
It is actually quite cool –
You can build the form in the software or you can take your micorsoft word table – dump it into and excel spread sheet – save it as a CSV (comma delimited) file and then upload to the TablePress.

Here is one I just did on a church website:

why is all this information from 1 year or more old…

All great information. I have been building website for 10 plus years and never seen anything like this. It is not realistic to rebuild the sites because it has actually hit 20 of my sites.

Some my bakups are old and do not work when I upload them. This site:

I deleted all files on the web, put up an old back up I had (1yr old). the site didn’t work so I replaced all core wordpress files.

It is re-infected 2 days later…

There has to be a simpler answer – I am not a code writer. I need a pretty detailed set of instruction to follow. I have not been able to find those instructions.

It is all great and dandy to tell me how to protect my sites but I need to fix the sites and fast…

I have looked through the files on several website and do not have any “new files”

I have several wordpress sites that google has blocked as having “malware” . Did you figure anything else out yet?

It does not affect my older html sites just my wordpress sites. Would like to follow your conversation. If you find a fix please post again.

I used nextgen until the latest version of Artiteer 4.1.0 and now I can’t get the new nextgen free or paid to work.

Any input?

I updated the theme, the wordpress, and plugins then went to each page that had problems and did an update. It works on some of the site…

Odd glitch… is it a hack?

when I updated to wp 3.5 my links widget disappeared.

How can it be a theme problem when it existed with the older version of wordpress?

I started this website nearly a year ago. I continually do the auto updates of both wp and the plugins.

I usually update wordpress and then go through and update each the plugins.

I just did the most recent update today of wordpress and jetpacks and the subscribers show on the site stats page under search engine terms.

It shows “subscriptions” then the word “blog”. the word blog is a hyperlink that shows a list of subscribers
