This isn’t exactly the look I am going for but I’ve switched to show my latest blogs. Still not the look I’m going for but I guess it’ll do for now.

In reply to: Posts not showing up on front page when I use the widgetsI don’t think that will help as the widgets are the specific themes widgets so I can’t test those out on a theme like Twenty.
It may not solve it. I always ask for comments and feedback. I get shares but no one ever comments. I don’t know if I’ve got something set up wrong or not. Seems to work when I test it. Maybe the content isn’t that good.

In reply to: Outbound links turning into links for my websiteSo I am trying to add my blog onto baseball references website.
They keep telling me that their system cannot pick up my site when it crawls it because my url is changing to my site and not theirs. This is what their link look like as an example for Shin-Soo Choo:
Shin-Soo Choo
The link above is how their system will pick it up. After entering in the above text and saving it my post, things on my end change to:
Shin-Soo Choo
But then this is an excerpt of an email they sent me explaining things on their end:
If you go to your feed you provided us: https://www.criswellscc.com/feed/ , you can right click on a player link and paste it somewhere else to see what the link URL is. So for example I right-clicked on Joey Gallo, which revealed the URL hyperlinked to Gallo’s name is https://www.criswellscc.com/?feed-stats-url=aHR0cHM6Ly93d3cuYmFzZWJhbGwtcmVmZXJlbmNlLmNvbS9wbGF5ZXJzL2cvZ2FsbG9qbzAxLnNodG1sP3V0bV9jYW1wYWlnbj1MaW5rZXImYW1wO3V0bV9zb3VyY2U9ZGlyZWN0JmFtcDt1dG1fbWVkaXVtPWxpbmtlci0%3D&feed-stats-url-post-id=2458 . While that link takes you to Baseball-Reference if you click on it, our system won’t pick it up because it doesn’t read baseball-reference in the URL. I’ve never seen this issue happen before, so I can’t really say how to fix it, but that needs to be resolved before our program can pick the link up.
I am completely clueless as to what would cause this. I’ve posted this on the other topics here and no answers. Can anyone help? It used to work so I don’t know what changed.

In reply to: Outbound links turning into links for my websiteThis is the email I got from baseball reference:
We appreciate your patience in this process, but I checked the RSS feed you linked us, and the links for that article are still appearing as a criswellscc.com URL instead of a baseball-reference URL.
Just to confirm things are working on our end, what appears in your blogging platform when you use the Linker? Do baseball-reference URLs appear in your drafted posts?

In reply to: Outbound links turning into links for my websiteYes. I don’t know why my site is changing their links to show from my site though. I’ve changed themes as well and it’s still the same issue. That is why their site isn’t picking up my blog to be included in their site.

In reply to: Issue with robots.txtThanks for all your help! I will see if that works.

In reply to: Issue with robots.txtOk so if I just remove everything, I still have a robots.txt file? It doesn’t just delete it.

In reply to: Issue with robots.txtSo then wouldn’t I not have a robots.txt if I remove everything? I’m sorry for all the questions, this is just where having a site confuses me.
Even with all the research I’ve done I’m still confused.
