There was no directory so I have created it, uploaded the logo file (a .png file) and it now says saved (I get no error messages) and I have checked the file has been uploaded.

But I still get the Contus Vidoe Gallery Free Edition Logo being displayed ??

Wow, would much prefer this kind of setting through the user interface :/
But thanks for the quick response. Please see my other post about updates. If I am to make all the changes above and you guys release a new version, do I have to manually go back and put this code back in?
How am I suppose to track the changes etc (or do you not update the plugin?)

Hi Guys, I have just started looking at this plugin again. With reference to the above, I was disappointed that you do not have a Widget to show videos by category.
e.g. I have video categories for animals and a page for dogs and a page for cats. How do I show in a widget, the last 5 videos posted for the category cats on the cats page and the last 5 videos posted for dogs, on the dogs page?

is this possible?

I do apologise for the short and sharp (and negative) review. The plugin clearly did not work as expected with my theme. I didn’t get a popup window at all as shown in your screenshot.
I should have contacted you through the support forum, you are quite correct. I am happy to give it another go when I have a little more time and more than happy for this review to be removed. I can’t see how to do it. I do appreciate the time you and other developers take to make WP so good, sorry again.

oh wow, just installed this plugin, pasted an RSS URL from a vBulletin site I have and it works a treat, but as above I would like to slow the ticker down. I don’t know CSS php scripting etc. I know a man who does, but it would mean asking him again if there is an update?
Does anyone know when the next update will be? You guys mentioned this 4 months ago.

Great plugin though, thanks. Get the option to make the ticker timing custom and I would be sure to make a contribution. Thanks for your hard work.

can someone give an example of how the formatting works in real life?

i.e. give a a full line of all the options and how they work as I get confused with the spaces, quotes, brackets etc. It does not help trying to guess all the time, especially when the examples by the developer are wrong, eg rss description instead of rssdescription.

I can NOT believe there is NO SIMPLE way to add a line break in WordPress !

WORDPRESS – would suggest basic editing functions for formatting WORDS !

Thanks roblagatta, I never thought of changing the theme as selecting the “Page Theme” didn’t work on the Themeforest site. However I have selected the “Page Theme” for the WYRF site and it fits much better, though the map and hover popup are truncated on the right hand side.

You mention different templates but on both installs of this I only see the Default Page Template and Default Events Template, nothing else.

Are there any examples of how i would use the HTML before and after boxes?

As I say, I’m no developer but when shown examples I can usually muck around and get something working. My life story lol.

Thanks guys, yes I have gone back to the theme developer. They are very helpful as I’m just a novice. Maybe they will come up with a solution.
I have tried the Events Calender on another site I built at the weekend using a standard WP free theme and it seems to work ok, except for the fact the positioning is not quite right but I see that it is the theme and not the plugin, though I have no idea how to fix it lol.
