I found the page where the “Read More” text is: page-home.php
so I just changed it there

find

and change the Read More text there….

Yes, I had thought of creating a child theme… but since this is the only change I am planning on making to the php files, I was thinking I’d make the changes again if I update the theme.
However, if I find that I will be making more modifications to the theme I will definitely create a child theme.
(I should do it anyway though…)

I figured it out! I removed another line from loop-page.php

<h1 class=”headline”><?php the_title(); ?></h1>

I did that, and it works for the page with featured image… but it is making the Heading appear twice on the homepage and other pages…
any idea what can prevent that?

It’s the default page template (not full width or archives…)

uh oh! I need your help again!
Because now the Header is showing up strange on PAGES that I have assigned a featured image to. Example:

However… that is only about the images, which I am happy with at the moment, I don’t want to change that anymore.
My issue is where the HEADING is placed… That it seems to move up over the banner image when a Featured image has been assigned to a post.
I want it to stay inside the white box ??

What you are looking at there I believe is the “NOVAS” page (with the list of posts…)
The issue I am having is when you click on one of the posts..

here are two screenshots that show the difference between a post with a Featured Image set:

I would like the Heading to always appear like the second one…
