In reply to: What the heck is XML-RPC URL?Great! Thanks! I got that fixed but now AB is giving me an error saying “Oops!Unable to post to blog service: Didn’t receive 200 OK from remote server.” Do you have any idea what that is and what I need to change to publish?

In reply to: Adding a theme from WRC Theme ViewerYes, I know, I’m a moron but can anyone help me fix it?
Forum: Themes and Templates
In reply to: Adding a theme from WRC Theme ViewerOh crap. No…I did it way wrong. I changed the entire folder permissions. Can you tell me what I need to change them back to and then I can go back and change those particular files.
Thanks so much for your help.

In reply to: Adding a theme from WRC Theme ViewerBad news – I changed permission to 666 and now my blog doesn’t come up at all. When I go into the themes part of the admin, it just tells me permission denied. I even tried 766 but that didn’t do any good either. I did this in cPanel and now it’s all screwed up. What was the permission set to begin with so at least my blog is showing?

In reply to: Adding a theme from WRC Theme ViewerOK, I give…what’s 766? Is that the extension? Like I would put header.766? Sorry, I’m clueless on this ??
Forum: Themes and Templates
In reply to: Adding a theme from WRC Theme ViewerAt the bottom of the pages where I would edit it says “If this file was writable you could edit it.”. So I can’t edit it?
Forum: Themes and Templates
In reply to: Adding a theme from WRC Theme ViewerThank you…I found it!
I can change anything on this I want, correct? I just need to leave the bottom part where it says who designed it?

Forum: Installing WordPress
In reply to: Fantastico Installation Problem(s)Thanks for your feedback! I went ahead and tried to do that and now this is what I get when I try to run it:
Cana€?t select database
We were able to connect to the database server (which means your username and password is okay) but not able to select the blog database.I added the database in cPanel and I even checked it to make sure. I tried adding my user name like they suggested, but that didn’t work. Any idea of what could be wrong now?
