In reply to: [WP Activity Log] Reverse Proxy IP addresses showing as unknown.@robert681 , I wanted to add a suggestion regarding the UI; making the ellipsis Icon for the action data inspector, into a button would increase usability of this plugin. A button with the text “Details”, “More”, or something along those lines would be an improvement.
Thanks again for the plugin and your work on it.

In reply to: [WP Activity Log] Reverse Proxy IP addresses showing as unknown.Yes, before the update IP’s were listed in the IP column, after the upgrade, IP’s show up as unknown in the activity log. If I roll back the update IP’s show up just fine in the IP column. The Reverse Proxy setting is set to yes, so it is on. When set to on and to filter internal IP’s; IP’s are still showing as unknown in the IP column. When Set to No/off IP’s are still set to unknown however, in the activity log I can see an IP entry just once when the Reverse proxy/firewall option is enabled. I can also see an IP entry when restricting the plugin access setting to admins only.
Thanks for including the link above. I was not aware of the alert data inspector area, In the inspector data I do see the http_client_ip information and it is accurate. As long as I can see the info needed this works until a fix is implemented for showing the IP in the IP column of the log viewer. Thanks again.

In reply to: [Spectra - WordPress Gutenberg Blocks] Advanced Columns Broken againHello @swetakumari,
It looks like the latest update to the plugin has resolved the issue I have described.
The changelog notes: Fix – Updated the CSS priority, to resolve UAG Blocks style issue with custom layout.
Thanks for reaching out.

Agreed, it is very strange. As you stated all of the files are intact. It only happens on the backend while working in the site so not a huge deal but annoying nonetheless. Thanks for the reply.

In reply to: [Private groups] Forum Root display issuesThanks again and I understand. It is just weird that when the plugin is disabled the topic counts, post counts, and freshness links are all correct. When the plugin is ENABLED; even if I am on a forum page itself for example https://www.sitename.com/wp/forums/forum/random-name/ all of the counts and freshness links are correct. It is literally only the forum root (https://www.sitename.com/wp/forums/) that has incorrect info for counts and the freshness link.
If anything comes to mind regarding a possible solution that would be great.
Thanks again for this great plugin.

In reply to: [Private groups] Forum Root display issuesHello Robin,
Thanks for you help a month ago. I noticed on the forum test site I have that the sub-forum topic counts on the forum root page is incorrect. For example a sub-forum topic will show 13 topics when there are only 4 topics. When I navigate to the single forum page listing all the sub-forums, the topic count is correct for a given sub-forum. Could this be an issue with the modification above? To test and verify, I disabled this plugin and the topic counts return with the correct counts. Also, the freshness links for each forum are also off and incorrect. Upon deactivating the plugin the freshness links return to normal and function as intended.

In reply to: [Private groups] Forum Root display issuesHello Robin,
This works as suspected. It would be nice to be able to to hide sub forums automatically but! selecting a group for the hidden sub forum does work.
Solid!
Thanks for your help!

In reply to: [Private groups] Forum Root display issuesThanks Robin,
Can you provide an example of a filter on your function as mentioned? I won’t be able to work on this until later this week. Thanks again for your time.

In reply to: [Private groups] Forum Root display issuesHello Robin,
Thanks for your time. I understand divs and the semantics of html which is why I am saying the li, div, li, div, li pattern should be corrected. The Li is a container, that in this case should contain the forum link and then the forum content (description).
In any case, again thanks for your time.

In reply to: [Private groups] Forum Root display issuesThe there is a mishap somewhere in the section of code identified above as mentioned. I understand your concern is not with the themes that do not jive well with the plugin. However, the fact that when descriptions are enabled, divs are intermixed with lists in the unordered list as pointed out. Your descriptions div tag should be contained within the list tag and not underneath it. That portion should at least be corrected.
The separate issue described here: https://www.ads-software.com/support/topic/bbp-private-groups-is-messing-up-my-theme/ is the same issue I am experiencing.
There are several high priced bbpress themes that users have purchased in the past and present that can utilize the private groups plugin you have developed. It’s just a shame that in my case I will not be able to utilize it because of the same issue described in the post link above.

In reply to: [Private groups] Forum Root display issuesIt looks like the divs should be contained within the li tags when descriptions are active.

In reply to: [Private groups] Forum Root display issuesRight it did not display the description. I meant that the items are thrown off. still. The div and its contents are not present when the description is turned off.

In reply to: [Private groups] Forum Root display issuesIt was on and I turned it off and tested with the same result.

In reply to: [Private groups] Forum Root display issuesI can confirm that with that setting turned off the issue still remains.
