In reply to: [Custom Taxonomy Order] ProductCat. order scrambledI don’t think the order of categories on the admin side matters at all. The current order is set with CSS, because that’s what my theme author said is the only way to do it.
Maybe this issue is entirely on the theme itself, because I’ve never in my life had issues with the order of categories except with Miini. That theme forced me to use this plugin which itself caused issues.
The order of categories should always be what is set in the admin side, imo. What’s the point of ordering them anyway, if the admin side vs actual site is different (unless you specifically want it that way which would be odd).

In reply to: [WooCommerce] Order of categories wrong on product archive pageHi,
I activated the Storefront theme. The order of categories was as intended everywhere where there was the list of categories visible (top menu as well as on the right side as a sidemenu).

In reply to: [WooCommerce] Order of categories wrong on product archive pageI understand how to reorder categories. The issue is that the order is different on the website itself in 2 different places.
The correct order appears when I hover over a menu on the homepage of my eshop.
Hover over “Tooted”However, when I go to click on the menu where all products are shown, then on the left the order is incorrect.
Here on the left – you can see 1 category ABOVE the red one. That is the newest and shouldn’t be there. It will always happen when adding new categories. The order of product categories need to be the exact same, but they are not. On the backend they’re correct.

In reply to: [WooCommerce] Random order of (product) categories a feature of WC?Hi,
As I previously mentioned: NB! The taxonomy plugin has been removed and category order has been set with CSS (by my theme author).
My initial question since the beginning has been: is changing the order of Product Categories (in any case) a feature of Woocommerce or not? Is the behavior that the order of Product Categories change a normal expected Woocommerce behavior?

In reply to: [WooCommerce] Random order of (product) categories a feature of WC?Hi,
the order of products is not the issue, but the order of Product Categories.
These change when I use Filters (Sort By). The order of product categories changes to seemingly something random when I use Order By filters, according to my theme author this is normal behavior for Woocommerce.

In reply to: [WooCommerce] Random order of (product) categories a feature of WC?Pretty sure I used this plugin to keep a set order of product categories.
However, when we added filters to the product archive (for filtering Price high-low etc) these categories changed order when you open up specific product categories. So the general product archive when clicking on “Store” was correct, but as soon as you clicked on specific product categories, the order changed.
My theme developer said that this is the default behavior of woocommerce (which I don’t believe). There is no reason as to why WC wouldn’t keep a specific category order that I have set from Customization and Product Categories.
The theme is Miini, link to e-shop. NB! The taxonomy plugin has been removed and category order has been set with CSS (by my theme author).

In reply to: [WooCommerce] Can’t deselect categoriesThanks for your reply. Found out that it was ElementsCSS Addons For Elementor that’s causing it. Works as expected when that’s disabled.

In reply to: [Contact Form 7] Cursor not starting the very left in some form fieldsWhy would the type change where the cursor starts? Doesn’t make much sense to me or I’m misunderstanding something.

In reply to: Whole website bold out of nowhereI found a workaround to the actual current issue, yes. So, a temporary fix.
No wonder nobody likes this plugin anymore.
Hm, the reason I ask is because I noticed a product have a meta description where it showed the long line of full price and discounted price as the meta tag, which I have definitely not done on purpose. Prices are not part of SEO descriptions or short descriptions, yet that’s what I saw.
