    Hi,

I don’t know what happened – it works now!

Today I went to WP-admin and noticed that there was a new update to the plugin. I downloaded it and checked off all the other plugins except Woo and Kadence Email. Now the translation for this placeholder works. I turned all plugins back on one by one and it still works. YAY!

Did the same thing with the other website and it works as well. YAY YAY!

Although, there is still one issue and it is (probably) irrelevant to translations:

In Email Customizer > Email Type and Text with Customer Invoice. In the preview window the Subject and text fields are mixed up between paid and unpaid orders. So I get the subject for unpaid order + body text for paid order. Also the switch button in Customer Invoice doesn’t properly switch, meaning most of the time I only see the paid option for Customer Invoice in the previw window. When I try to switch, very rarely it does switch to paid, but a lot of the time nothing happens (well something seems to be loading but the texts stay the same).

In the actual email both unpaid Customer Invoice and paid Customer Invoice seem to print out okay, e.g. subject and body text are the right ones.

This problem I’ve had since I downloaded the plugin but it’s more of the FYI nature. I can live with it! ??

Thanks for the tips and the magic – whatever happened! I really do like the plugin.

Thanks for the quick reply! I’ll try and check with my server provider. I’ll get back to you if that is a dead end.

I’ve been using Loco for quite a while and this is the first time I’ve ran into a problem, that’s why I’m baffled. Of course the server provider may have updated something.

    Hi,

Yes the correct translation is in Kadence WC Email Designer plugin translations. Also the WP language is set to Finnish just like you did. Also tried setting it to English and then back to Finnish. So my situation should mirror your test but for some reason it doesn’t. I just keep having the issue. Any further ideas?

FWIW, I downloaded the plugin for another WP-Woo Finnish website I run, just to see how it works (and because I definitely like how the plugin makes my customer emails look!). However it caused much more translation issues there – the email bodies would sometimes translate, sometimes not, and texts in Email Customizer > Email Type and Text would sometimes work, sometimes not. I had to take it out of use. There must be something conflicting it, perhaps another plugin?

    Hi,

Thanks, I am actually using Loco Translate. The problem is that the text in placeholder {invoice_pay_link} doesn’t translate. The text in the placeholder is Pay for this order. In Loco I do have a Finnish translation for this text (Pay for this order -> Maksa t?m? tilaus) but when I use the placeholder in Customer Invoice, it still says Pay for this Order and not the Finnish translation.

I’m still getting the same disclaimer. Any news on updates?
