I have a different problem but hope you can help – my widgets show on all my blog posts and pages, but not on the home page. I am using a basic 2010 theme and have just completed the latest update, since which my widgets all disappeared. Any help much appreciated

Thank you. The issue of the plugin appearing when I deleted it is now resolved. I would like to re-install it, but my question over how to post it to a page instead of a widget is not resolved. It still shows only the latest post, despite my settings. Can you please advise?

Ok now I am seriously freaked out! I have deleted the plugin in an attempt to stop it appearing in my sidebar, but it is still showing on my sidebar despite not existing on my site as a plugin!
