I’ve tried that, and I just can’t seem to get it to work. The blog is very new, and I’m happy just to reinstall a fresh WordPress to the hosting and import everything bit by bit again, but even that doesn’t seem to work.

I edited the wp config file to reflect the new database I created, but when I visited luckydshostel.com/blog, it just comes up with a page error ‘page cannot be found’.

Does it matter whether the database created is mysql 4 or 5?

Oh, and when I link them to Facebook, even if they DO work, the link pretends to link to an error page even though it loads fine once it’s clicked. ??

I am with 000webhost. I’m completely novice to all this… I created a htaccess file and put it in the public_html file. Almost all of the posts now work, but there are still a few that randomly redirect to the error page. Ie the one ‘Hostelling the High Life’. I posted it over a week ago and for some reason it still won’t load.

Damnit, it worked then, thought I had done this before but obviously not!

Ahh I think it worked. Well, I did what you said and it didn’t work, then I changed it back and it suddenly worked. Hmm.

I tried moving it back and now it brings up another index of page.
