this is great but it would be much more helpful to have the ‘full’ theme to test with. that would include a complete set of wigets, theme settings and also ‘reading’ settings’.

but i’m sure that’s complex to do…

I also see that this preview doesn’t give me access to widgets. menus don’t appear and other settings like ‘reading’ are not editable. too bad but it seems a limitation of wp itself?

i have not used feedburner yet but it seems many of its features can be accomplished via simple wordpress plugins. but it does offer a compelling collection of features and keeps adding more. i think there is a good reason so many people use it – but that does not mean it is right for everyone. i’ll update more once i try it out.

i was able to answer my own question. this syntax worked:

animation no [audio:file.mp3|animation=no]
animation yes [audio:file.mp3|animation=yes]

but i’d still love to hear of other solutions – anyone have a good plugin for showing audio playlists?

maybe it’s a matter of learning how to program the perfect flash skin for the wordtube player. of course flash is on its way out so i hate to invest in that now.

thanks for that fix. but i might go back to ‘quotes collection’ unless some generous developer wants to maintain this great plugin.

that’s too subtle for my needs. i jsut want it to print the title under the thumbnails. is there an easy way to do that? thanks for any pointers!

i love thematic and one of the most useful features it has are body classes. that would be a really helpful feature to include in a theme for beginners. i wonder if it taxes the server, though, so perhaps having an option to turn it on and off.

It’s not obvious how to edit the skin. It’s a complex flash file but I figured part of it out.

I’m not sure if you could get it to highlight the song that is being played.

It does, however, scroll so that the current track is at the top of the list. If there is room for scrolling.
ALSO NEED HELP FINDING WHERE IN THE FLASH FILE I CAN CONTROL THE LOCATION OF TEXT ELEMENTS.

however, i found the default to be ‘tag’ not ‘tags’. you can change this in settings/permalinks, of course.

so your example should be

great idea for a plugin. i am struggling to get a client’s word-based resume into wordpress. i love your importing and exporting options.

my suggestion is to make the headings (skills, awards etc) customizable. that would make this plugin hugely useful for building many kinds of documents. it could the the ‘bulleted list builder’ instead of just a resume builder. maybe abstract it to certain kinds of lists – one version with dates, one version with sub sections, a featured version that has slightly larger text etc.

actually i was at 2.8.4 and now at 2.8.5 it is working again. but i didn’t test right before i upgraded so maybe it’s something on twitter’s end.
