I see. Sorry to bother you. I just didn’t want people turning away because they thought it wasn’t compatible with the latest version of WP.

It seems a lot of plugin listings in this directory have the same situation with it saying a lower WP version number like that. Is it something the plugin author can update?

FYI, Kasia from WPMUDEV told me the following:

I can confirm that Postmatic works with Comments+. Epoch works with Comments+ – but not 100% – you can use them both, but Comments+ don’t shows comment form where Epoch does. You can comment with Comments+ social Logins, but not replay where Epoch works.
Epoch has it’s own support to other WordPress Social login plugin.

I advise you to make the beta labeling MUCH more obvious to avoid further unfair reviews like this. Anyway, I’m excited about the possibilities with this plugin. I nearly went with wpDiscuz, but since Epoch has tighter integration with Postmatic (since you guys make it), I thought that this one will end up being the safer choice.

Fair enough. I’m just saying how it looks to people who are unaware of the issues you mentioned.

I would suggest that you put a version of what you just wrote above on this plugin’s description page to set people’s expectation about support for this plugin.

So, it seems that if I have Skimlinks, then there is no need to sign up for a GeoRiot account because Skimlinks provides both analytics and affiliate commission handling.

So, I’m getting the localization functionality for free.

Would be nice if you guys merged.

Yours is an unfair review by someone with unrealistic expectations. We are having similar issues, but it is not the fault of ASE, it’s just how things work with WP. The ASE team has been fantastic with their responsiveness and I really believe in what they are doing. Bought all their add-ons and am excited about the possibilities.

You guys might face more reviews like the one above if you don’t take the time to explain things a bit more up front. What I mean is, not all of your customers will be developers who properly understand all the issues. I suggest you add some infographic and detailed explanation that outlines the roles of themes, child themes, plugins, etc. so that people will understand exactly what to expect. In any case, keep up the great work. You guys are truly awesome.

The 1~3 star reviews for this plugin are making me strongly reconsider using it.

The guys at wpGeodirectory offer such a bundle package and it is a fantastic bargain that most of their customers seem to be going for. I also paid for the full lifetime membership for Elegant Themes and feel it was such a bargain.
