HELP NEEDED

Thanks for your reply! We’ve found our fault! Instead of inserting the general/normal link in html, we’ve inserted the link of the draft…so that’s why it always linked to the draft, which is only visible for the admin.

On the sidebar you’ll find “Aktuelles” which are the news.
By clicking on it you’ll get to the posts ( the link still doesn’t work because the theme is still not activated, we think):
https://www.fs-romanistik-bonn.de/?p=459. E.g. on the first post “Weihnachtsfrühstück” we want to have the publish date in the same line.
Any suggestions? Thank you.

Yes, the “upload date” is the same as the “publish date”. We want the date to be visible next to the headline of every post. But not on the whole homepage like e.g. the main page, just for certain posts. On our page you’ll find them in the “news” section.
Sorry, we’re totally beginners, but we hope that you now better understand what we mean.

Our problem has been solved under “how-to-end-troubleshooting” -> “can’t open the admin-page anymore”.

With the second link we succeeded to open the login-page again but we can’t login with our regular user name and password anymore. Any ideas?

The main problem is that we didn’t set up this page so we don’t have this link. We’ll try to find out who set up this page.

I assume you changed the URLs in the admin system itself? Now you can’t log back in so you can’t change them back?

Yes, you’re right. We changed the URLs. ?? Now we can’t even open this link (https://www.fs-romanistik-bonn.de/wp-admin/ that we have changed into https://www.arbeiten3333.de) to login anymore.

we upgraded WP 3.1 on a Windows server and afterwards we wanted to put our website “under constructions” and thought that we could do that by changing the URLs. Now we can’t open the link to enter onto the admin-page anymore. The homepage itself is still available but completly changed (it looks this: https://www.fs-romanistik-bonn.de/?page_id=8) and doesn’t work anymore.
We’re hoping to get a quick answer. Thanks in advance! ??
