The php and WordPress version are both fine.
Your hint with the writing permissions helped me find the issue. I had to apply the right permissions to all the subfolders as well (running localhost on a Mac).

The plugin author of “Woocommerce germanized” told me to take a look at the following which describes the base price the plugin is creating:

if you change the currency to “CH”, the base price is not converted
