Sometimes, the cron event can stick around in WordPress, even after the plugin has been removed. You can use a plugin like WP Crontrol to manage and delete scheduled cron events more easily through the WordPress dashboard.
After installing and activating WP Crontrol, you can navigate to Tools > Cron Events and search for
import_batch
. Hover your mouse overimport_batch
and click Delete. If you encounter any errors while deleting this, please take a screenshot and share it with us, and we’ll investigate further.Thank you, and I look forward to hearing from you soon!

Hi @vincent514
Thanks for getting back to us!
I noticed that the access token shown in the error message is incorrect, which indicates that the account is not connected properly. Access tokens should starts with “IG” (for personal accounts) or “EA” (for business accounts). Your access token starts with “z+ET”.
Could you please try deleting the connected Instagram account from your website entirely?
You can go to?Settings > Accounts, then click Delete on the Instagram account that we want to remove.
For visual guidance, you can refer to this screenshot.
Please keep in mind that deleting your Instagram account won’t delete your feeds.
Once you delete your account, your feed will say “Feed has no sources.” It’s missing the source, but all of your feed’s configuration is still there. After deleting the account, you can try to connect it again from scratch.
Depending on the type of account, you can follow this documentation:
After connecting the account, the next step is to go to Feeds menu, and then click on your feed. From there, click on your account under “Show posts from these accounts”. Wait until the loading is done because at this point Spotlight is syncing with your Instagram content.
I hope it helps. Please let me know how that goes.

Hi @vincent514
Thank you for reaching out!
If your feed has suddenly stopped working, it may be due to a temporary Instagram API issue or a problem with the account connection.
To resolve this error, please try reconnecting your Instagram account from Instagram Feeds > Settings > Accounts, as explained here.
Please let me know how that goes.

We understand your concern regarding compatibility with the Sage theme and Acorn. Currently, RSS Aggregator doesn’t have built-in support for namespacing plugin dependencies. However, we do appreciate the feedback, and it’s something we can consider for future development.
In the meantime, if you have any specific conflicts or issues you’re experiencing with Acorn, feel free to provide more details, and we’ll do our best to assist you with a workaround.

I’m glad to know that the plugin has been useful to you, and I appreciate your kind words!
I understand your concern about the token expiration. You can actually check the expiration date of your access token directly in the plugin. To do so, go to Instagram Feeds > Settings > Accounts, then click on the three dots icon next to your account and select Info. When the pop-up appears, click on View Access Token. Under this section, you’ll be able to see the expiration date of your token.
I hope this helps clarify things. If you have any more questions or suggestions, feel free to reach out!
Hi @wordmax
Thank you for reaching out! The PHP deprecation notices you’ve encountered are a known issue.
Although Aggregator 4.x addressed several compatibility challenges, we’re aware that some PHP 8 deprecation warnings remain unresolved. I’m happy to let you know that we’re actively developing Aggregator 5.0, which will offer full compatibility with PHP 8.x.
This new version will include extensive fixes and enhancements to ensure seamless performance with PHP 8.x. We appreciate your patience as we work towards providing a better experience with RSS Aggregator.
Feel free to reach out if you have any more questions or need further assistance.

Your token expired on April 1st, 2024, and you’ll need to generate a new access token for security purposes.
Please kindly ask your client to generate a new token, and that should resolve the issue.
I hope this helps. Let me know how it goes.
